We women especially can be suckers for giving in to those carby cravings (insert week leading up to period want to eat allllll the foods)🙋‍♀️ These are the times when your body is saying feed me something nutritious like vegetables & fruits & nuts & seeds & wholegrains! Whilst chocolate is far more tempting, it's definitely not going to provide your body with the vitamins & minerals it's wanting. Instead of chocolate, opt for trail mix or bliss balls made with cacao if you REALLY want chocolate before you have a meltdown 😂 More of a savoury gal? Opt for vegie sticks like carrot, celery, capsicum with hummus, guac.. Something more? Brown rice cakes with hummus or guac + tomato are another quick & easy option! .
