“I’m a fountain of blood, in the shape of a girl”

It’s incredibly surprising/irritating to think of how easy it is for people to make it their hearts desire to just TAKE away your traditional femininity. It’s almost as if being a woman requires you to go out and make a living, all alone, as if being a woman means wearing only pants or things that show off your body, as if being a woman means being a working mother. I understand a lot of people want equality but... what is equality if I WANT to be all those things? I know so many girls who actually dream of being all these I mentioned and nobody tells them it’s okay to keep wanting this. It has completely flipped. And I am utterly confused like?? Let them? Be who they wanna?? Be?? It’s not so complicated and yet it is 🤔🤷🏽‍♀️ Anyways, I had a talk with a few people today about this and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it all afternoon. What has been on your mind today?
