I hope everyone is doing well this week. This winter calm has me feeling so relaxed and rejuvenated lately. . . I've released two Unboxing videos on my IGTV Channel filmed at our last styled shoot by @justjesswa and have been wanting to do some of these for a while. . . Unboxing videos are so satisfying to watch. I got the idea from some Youtubers that do this so it IS a "thing." . . We get some really cool products donated to us for styled shoots, so I'll keep releasing these as we do more. It's a fun way for us to show you products in a different way. . . I took a hiatus from Instagram for a few weeks. Here is what I learned:_ . . Within the stillness, there is much to gain. The constant, perpetual flow of information that our minds consume blocks us from hearing our own thoughts sometimes._ . . Creative people have a particularly flawed relationship with an overconsumption of digital media. It is through times of silence that all my great ideas flow from, therefore a healthy amount of unplugging is necessary from time to time._ . . The good news is, I got a TON of work done! I feel completely relaxed and am starting to plan several projects that have been in my mind's eye for some time. Stay tuned. The best is yet to come. 👁
A woodland sweetheart table is easy to accomplish at @coldspringsevents with ceiling installation hardware available for all their couples. At Sara and Brad's wedding, the owner of Cold Springs sourced the greenery from the grounds around the venue. It was then hung with light bulbs dangling to enchant the piece. Such a minimalist adornment, but made a big impact! . . . Anyone else tired of holiday baking yet? Well, never fear because that's why the Baby Jesus invented no-bake recipes 😀 You will need to chill each layer before adding the next but total prep time is only about 30 minutes. And these sweet treats are super fun to serve guests. Everybody loves to eat out of a teeny jar. . . . Ingredients 1½ cups ground graham cracker crumbs ⅓ cup brown sugar 6 tbsp butter, melted 1 pkg (250g) cream cheese, softened 1 can sweetened condensed milk ⅓ cup lemon juice 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 tsp almond extract 1 can cherry pie filling . . . Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and brown sugar. Place into the bottom of mason jars and press tightly. Set in the refrigerator for an hour. Beat the cream cheese until fluffy. Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk. Stir in lemon juice, vanilla and almond extract. Pour over crust in the mason jars and chill for 3 hours. Top with cherry pie filling before serving. Serve and enjoy 😋🍒
