I must say that this is my favorite street in temple bar. There is so much going on and everything is so colorful.😍 Something that I am starting to enjoy more and more in photography is shooting panoramic photos.📸 Panoramic photography is a technique you can use to capture a scene in a wide format.
If you are using a smartphone, you can use the panoramic mode to capture your photo.
If you are using a mirrorless camera, DSLR camera, a point and shoot camera or else you will need to follow the technique shoot and stitch.
To capture a vertical panoramic photo. Position your camera in landscape mode and take several shots of your subject from the bottom to the top while making sure each shot overlap with one another.
To capture a landscape panoramic photo. Position your camera in portrait mode and take several shots of your subject from left to right or vice versa, while making sure each shot overlap with one another.
Then you will need to use a software to stitch all shots into a single one.
The main benefits are:
1. if you use a telephoto lens, this is a great hack to capture a landscape shot
2. You are getting a better photo quality. Meaning that if your camera shoot at 24 megapixel. You can multiply the number of pixels by the number of photos you take to create your panoramic shot. You will end up Ith a huge file to play around with if you shoot your photo in RAW format. This is ideal for printing your photos.
I added this photo to my Dublin Print gallery if you are interested. 😉 you can find the link either in my bio or in my Instagram story @themillennialnomad!📲
