Sri Venkateswara College organised an event 'Parivartan' on 2nd Feb 2018, in which our Team Lakshyam was invited. We displayed our handmade products curated by Lakshyam kids and women. Many students of Sri Venkateswara college came forward to register themselves as intern and volunteers at Lakshyam.
Thank you, Sri Venkateswara College for inviting us to the event and showing the kind spirit towards our cause. We are really grateful to see such an overwhelming response from the students for joining hands with us.

Life of little ones are destroyed, when child labour is employed.

78 lakh Indian children are forced to earn a livelihood even as they attend school!
At an age when they should be at school, many of them drudge hard in fields, factories and shops- burdened with work which deteriorate their health and deprives them of education.

Your one favour can ensure their child is in safe hands. Become a volunteer at Lakshyam to curtail child labour from our nation!

When media and a Bollywood figure comes forward to talk about a Much HUSH HUSH issue of sanitary pads and the hygiene around us. Hence, the shift begins!
We wish all the social issues could be talked and curated in such a way !! Last week for the first time our adolescent girls in the slum communities spoke on their own about pads and asked few things with the closing note when they saw the movie promos!! Usually, the other NGO partners and volunteers would do awareness sessions and had to compel them to talk !! #makebetterplacetolive #peacewithall #lakshyamngo #loveall #padmantalks

On 6th October, Optum Team from Noida visited our Lakshyam’s Ghaziabad center for their CSR activity wherein they interacted and played a different type of games with our kids. They even organized a talk session in which they made our kids aware of the difference between a good touch and a bad touch. They also brought yummy refreshments for all our kids which were distributed amongst all after the talk session.

We thank Team Optum for visiting our center and making our kids aware about this important topic.

If you wish to organize such awareness sessions or workshops at Lakshyam, please write us at support@lakshyam.co.in or call us at 9540650002.
