@yankeecandleuk_ @yankeecandle @yankeecandleeu #yankees #yankee #yankeecandle #candlelight #candle #candles #kerzen #kerze #duftkerze #duft #scentsy #scent #scents #smellsgood #smell #martini #cookies #cookie #sugar #zucker #sugarcookiemartini #winter #wintertime
The Yankees, Cardinals, White Sox, Phillies, and Giants have all sent an offer to the Orioles for Manny Machado. What would it take to get Manny? This lineup would be incredible. #Yankees

Aside from signing Anthony Swarzak, there was other news from today’s winter meetings. -

Well the Mets are reportedly out on Ian Kinsler, but I’m not sure why. Reports say that there are reports that Kinsler was traded to the LA Angels, but Buster Olney is reporting that a deal is not done. Olney is also reporting that the Mets currently are NOT engaged with Kinsler, whether or not he’s an Angel. Kinsler likely wouldn’t have waived his no-trade clause to accept a trade to the Mets. -

New York Post’s Joel Sherman says the Mets “are curious, if not aggressive” on free agent third baseman Todd Frazier. It would seem like the interest the Mets have in Frazier would be for third baseman, but a report came out today (can’t remember what source, if someone knows tell me) that Frazier was also garnering interest as a first baseman, and even as a second baseman. Frazier played as a shortstop in the minor leagues for the Reds. The Mets could possibly have interest in Frazier as a first or second baseman. Frazier, also is known to be a great guy to get along with in the clubhouse, and I’d expect the Mets to want Frazier to be a mentor to Dominic Smith. *incoming Yankee fans* -

Also, the Mets are unlikely to add another bullpen arm following the Swarzak signing. However, if the Mets back out of a deal due to a failed physical or something else, they have been linked to Addison Reed and Matt Albers. -

The Mets, as expected, spoke with Jay Bruce’s Agent, Matt Sosnick today, but are not close to signing him. Bruce fits the 1B/OF Player the Mets are looking for. According to Jon Heyman, the Mets, Rockies, Jays, and Mariners are eyeing Bruce. However, the Rockies have seen a lot of financial flexibility go away recently, as they have signed Bryan Shaw and Jake McGee and appear close to bringing back Greg Holland. -

Star outfielder Michael Conforto still hasn’t gotten the approval to swing a bat, and remains unlikely to be ready for Opening Day. The 2017 all star had a breakout year in 2017, slashing 279/384/555 and smacked 27 home runs and drove in 68 runs.
