Here’s a better photo of the two bags I purchased @tweedrva to help @jlofrichmond with our #lbdijlr fundraiser this week. #richmondva #rva #tweed #juniorleagueofrichmond #donate #helpinghand #helpingothers #eastendrichmond
We have been wearing our LBDs all week long to advocate for our community members who live in poverty and are impacted by a food desert.
Our work isn’t over yet, and our fundraising efforts aren’t either. We are just shy of our $35,000 goal.
Two ways to support today - make a donation to our campaign (link in comments) AND shop at Tweed today. Tweed is generously donating a portion of today's sales back to the League! #LBDIJLR

Picked up this adorable @scoutbags #daytripper and #packinheatmakeupbag @tweedrva this morning while shopping to give back to @jlofrichmond for our #lbdijlr
I wore a black dress for only 5 days, but 26% of Richmond residents live in poverty every day. Poverty limits individuals’ opportunities and choices – and not just in terms of clothing, but in education, in relationships, and in health.
Consider donating to the Junior League of Richmond #LBDIJLR to fund an EnviraGrow Mobile Learning Center for the East End!
I am truly humbled by the overwhelming support of the community near and far for our LBDI EnviraGrow project. Thank you for your likes, comments, notes of encouragement, and your donations.
Giving back has always been a part of who I am and there have been times when it has felt like I am not making an impact. I have seen that 68 women can come together to make a difference in the Little Black Dress Initiative. We have raised almost $30,000 towards our goal of $35,000 in 5 days!
If you believe in the power of good, of giving back to your community, or in ending hunger you can still donate ANY amount to our cause.

I am $30 away from my $500 goal! Find my donation link in profile and help me make the best gift I can to this project!

All the lettuces!
All the herbs!
All the leafy greens!
Help the Junior League of Richmond purchase THIS EnviraGrow Mobile Learning Center so that our community partners in the East End of Richmond will be able to grow ALL OF THIS 365 days a year!
Why?
Because the East End of Richmond is a food desert, which means that families don't have readily accessible fresh foods - like these. No child should go hungry. Help us to end hunger and combat poverty. #LBDIJLR Link to donate in profile. #rva #jlofrichmond @jlofrichmond #enviragrow
