Never give up, never give in, never give out. Keep the faith, and keep your eyes on the prize. Together, we can redeem the soul of America. #goodtrouble
SO MUCH is at STAKE: reproductive rights, racial equity, environmental protections, and so much more. We need to be screaming about this. Call your senator to #StopKavanaugh: 202-902-7129.
SAY IT LOUD 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

🌈 Pride can be a parade. Pride can be quiet. Simply holding the hand of the one closest to your heart while discovering a new land. This is my float. This is my dance party. This is my march. Hold each other. Look after each other. Wherever you share your light today whether it be a parade or a quiet stroll, live it all to the fullest. Happy Pride. 🌈 ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜
These words continue to move me... “breathe and PUSH” ...Now is the time to Push!

I woke up this morning to this stunning art and the words of a prayer I gave the day after the election. Any nourishment my words gave you, you returned to me today ten-fold, artist @kimothyjoy.
In our tears and agony, we hold our children close and confront the truth: The future is dark.
But my faith dares me to ask:
What if this darkness is not the darkness of the tomb, but the darkness of the womb?
What if our America is not dead but a country still waiting to be born? What if the story of America is one long labor?
What if all the mothers who came before us, who survived genocide and occupation, slavery and Jim Crow, racism and xenophobia and Islamophobia, political oppression and sexual assault, are standing behind us now, whispering in our ear: You are brave? What if this is our Great Contraction before we birth a new future?
Remember the wisdom of the midwife:
“Breathe,” she says. Then: “Push.”
Now it is time to breathe. But soon it will be time to push; soon it will be time to fight — for those we love — Muslim father, Sikh son, trans daughter, indigenous brother, immigrant sister, white worker, the poor and forgotten, and the ones who cast their vote out of resentment and fear.
Let us make an oath to fight for the soul of America — “The land that never has been yet— And yet must be” (Langston Hughes) — with Revolutionary Love and relentless optimism. And so I pray this Sikh prayer:
Nanak Naam Chardi Kala,
Tere Bane Sarbat Da Bhalla
“In the name of the Divine within us and around us, we find everlasting optimism.
Within your will, may there be grace for all of humanity.”
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh
Please understand what the government is doing with these parents and children... is also once how slave auctions were justified. #HistoryNeedNotBeRepeated ...If you want to do more to help, please contact or support the ACLU who are fighting to reunite these families.
This is a picture of my Father at my sister’s graduation ceremony.
You never stop trying to carry us even though we are grown.
Love you forever for that 😍😍😍
Taking time to enjoy and explore new things...life was meant to be savored! 😍

Today’s Adventure consisted of riding a bike up a mountain!!! Why did I do this? That was the question I constantly asked myself while struggling to ride up..
Were there tears? YES
Did I quit? NOPE
🚴🏾‍♀️ .
Did I stop several times along the way and take breaks? Obviously.
. ...At the end of the day all that matters is that I tried, bonus was making it to the top, triple bonus was the exhilarating ride down.
Yes, there was thunder and rain and many bugs hit my face but I kept going...🏆
