You need to be content with small steps. That's all life is. Small steps that you take every day so when you look back down the road it all adds up and you know you covered some distance. It took me a long time to accept that, but it's true. You need to have patience and peace knowing you're doing your part with what's in our hands. 🙌🏻 like the photo if you love this dress! 👗

“Someone give her a cheeseburger” “I bet she didn’t even eat that pizza” “dude her skin looks horrible” “she has big feet like her mom” These are real things that people have commented on my photos before. Since when is bullying acceptable? Is it because you aren’t saying this directly to someone’s face that you feel it’s okay? We live in such a backwards world. The media is calling these people “trolls” but let’s be real and call it what it really is, these people are BULLIES. They degrade, put down, criticize and make other people feel inferior. This is unacceptable. We live in a world where we share videos of people getting beat up, where memes are created specifically to make fun of people to make us laugh. Where women say they want to empower one another but tear each other down with passive aggressive comments online. We live in a world where we SAY: love yourself, be comfortable in your own skin and then turn around and ACT the opposite. When does this stop? I know where it starts. It starts with you and it starts with me. It starts with truly loving ourselves. Knowing that each of us has something special to offer the world, as we are right now, unique in all that we are. Being confident enough in ourselves to genuinely applaud someone else’s life, goals, success, beauty, and abilities. It starts with you and me making a CHOICE everyday to spread love and positivity instead of hate and negativity. I feel so blessed to have this amazing community of women, who strive to empower one another, lift each other up and spread love.
7 years ago I found myself starting over. I was in the middle of a divorce at just 21 years old and I was seriously questioning if there would ever be anyone out there for me. I hated being alone, I hated struggling on my own without anyone to lean on for strength. A year later Troy came back into my life. He was the last person I ever wanted to talk to after a rough high school relationship with him but somehow, God put us on the same path again. 7 years later I find myself thanking God that he had a better plan for me, for bringing Troy into my life again, changing both of our hearts and for blessing me with this strong, Godly man. I've always known that I needed a strong, Godly man. A man that would be stronger than me and a man that I could let my inner control freak settle down and trust to make the best decisions for us. It wasn't through nagging that Troy would put God at his center, it was praying for God to give Troy a change of heart. Maybe you're in a place in your life where you're questioning your future, wondering if God has the right person out there for you - instead of praying for him to bring you the right person, I challenge you to pray that God would help you become the right person. Or maybe you're finding that you and your partner are in a tough season of life and I pray that you would ask for God to work on your hearts, to put the others needs before your own and that your hearts would be open to change. God has a way of molding us in our toughest times and it's up to us to decide how we're going to come out of the storm. 💛 Thank you Troy for leading our family with such confidence and grace. You are an amazing man for God and I'm so so blessed to do life with you. @troyleehunt
