Some paper art to brighten your day!
Wishing you all a very merry Christmas and an enjoyable day with family and friends!
After a brief school-induced hiatus I am back and excited to be creating new content and experimenting with my art and other creative pursuits over the summer! Speaking of which- here's a watercolour eye study I completed recently, I need to work on my technique so I'd love any tips you have on working with the media. To those in the Southern hemisphere, what are you doing during your holidays?.... only 15 days till Christmas!!
#happyhalloween🎃 everyone! I must confess that I haven't left the house or dressed up in a costume, but I have burnt a candle in my new (and spooky) @studioarhoj ghost light while sketching and watched an episode of #strangerthings .What have you been doing this October 31st?
A quick sketch of the #girlfriendcollective topanga bra for the second edition of my new ethical fashion series; #myethicalcloset. Check out the full review on my blog (link in bio) as well as the previous review of their leggings.
Have you ever wondered #whomademyclothes ? Well, I sure have! After looking a little deeper into the world of #ethicalfashion I decided to start a series of reviews on my blog (including artworks) focussing on different 'green fashion' brands and their policies and products. Here is a look at #girlfriendcollective A.K.A my new favourite leggings - if you are interested in seeing more visit my blog for the full rating and review (link in bio).
A look at some of my origami papers (which I have finally organised). There's plenty more where that came from so if you want to see a tour leave a comment and let me know - I stocked up a lot when I travelled to Japan!
Sneak peek of the #meetheartist posted on my blog (link in bio) featuring my dog Pearl!
A little post to introduce myself to you guys: My passions are art and design (particularly natural history illustration) and ethical fashion (I love to sew my own clothes). I'm a magazine addict and avid collector of origami papers (chiyogami) and washi tapes which were the inspiration behind the name 'a paper princess'! To learn more about me and view the finished illustration of this hare + other recent projects, pop over and visit my website (link in profile).
