Yesterday one of our staff member's beloved pets Ellie the #kangaroo passed away peacefully from old age. Having remarkably made it to 20 years of age, Ellie was rescued as a #joey following a car crash that killed her mother in the summer of 1998. With a damaged leg, Ellie would never have survived in the wild. Instead Ellie enjoyed her life in a large green garden on a farm in #Deniliquin NSW where she befriended dozens of #kelpies over the years. Virtually human, Ellie would often sneak inside the house by nudging sliding doors with her head...only to find her way into the pantry to devour biscuits or bread. A lady of leisure, she just loved laying on her mat in front of the open fire during winter
