Happy Birthday to my Queen👑💖 You are my hearts keeper, My bestfriend and my number one supporter.
I am eternally grateful to God for blessing me with such a selfless and loving mother.
Here is to 50 more years of life🍻🍻
I was raised by prayer warriors. my grandmother and my mother are the epitome of a Proverbs 31 woman.
Prayer is of paramount importance to me. Being able to surrender all my burdens to God really lightens the load.
Today I am grateful to my grandmother who taught me to not just pray when things were bad as is the norm, but, to pray in good times too. To thank God for the blessing of life.

Every evening before bed we would pray together and every year on New Years Eve we would rush home before midnight to pray with my grandmother.

April is a bittersweet month for me since 2015.
April 4th I celebrate my mother's birthday. And I thank God for giving her life in abundance and good health.
While, on April 5th, I'm usually filled with so much sadness as I buried my grandmother on that day in 2015.
Today I found myself praying for strength as the month of April approaches.

How many of us relate with this?

So much goes into healing. Solitude is key on this journey.

1 John 1:5-9 ❤ "This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.
If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
Merry Christmas ❤❤😍 Tis the season to be jolly 💃
I'm low-key hurt that my vacation has come to an end. I'm ready to go vacationing again.

"There are those who maintain Africa cannot unite because we lack three necessary ingredients for unity, a common race, a common culture and a common language. It is true that we have for centuries been divided. The territorial boundaries dividing us were fixed long ago, often quite arbitrarily, by the colonial powers without our consultation. Some of us speak English, some Portuguese, not to mention the millions who speak only one of the hundreds of different African Languages. We have acquired from our former colonial masters cultural differences which have affected our outlook and conditions of our political development. All this is inevitable due to our historical background.Yet in spite of this, I am convinced that the forces making for mutual understanding far outweigh those which divide us... It is not our colonial past, or the fact that we have common aims that should unite us,it is something that goes far deeper. I can describe it as a sense of one-ness in that we are Africans.
