Our Children's Book Drive continues through May 31. We are collecting books to be given as prizes to children taking part in our programs. Please help by donating new/gently used children’s books — preschool to 12th grade — to your branch.  Thank you!
We will be closed on Monday, May 28, in observance of Memorial Day.
Summer Quest kicks off on Saturday, June 16 with Kick-Off Fairs at all branches. Join us this summer for six weeks of fun events, free performances, and chances to earn badges. Readers of all ages are invited to join us and help Bucks County read 4 million minutes this summer! We’ll have reading challenges for everyone!
The Peace Valley Plein Air Painters paint en plein air every Wednesday at various locations in #BucksCounty. Today, the Doylestown District Center Library served as the inspiration for painters Pat Devirgilis and Addie Hocynec.

We’re almost ready for BCFL Comic Con! See you this Saturday, May 5 at Doylestown, Langhorne, and Quakertown branches from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Join us for activities, special guests, food trucks, and fun for all ages.

According to his mother, Batman’s favorite part of coming to the #Quakertown library is storytime and KAPOW!, this month's Discovery Studio installation. KAPOW! invites everyone to sketch their inner superhero, take a caped-selfie, and discover quirky comic curiosities.
The Backyard at the Doylestown branch is now open! The Backyard is roughly 20,000 square feet of hardscaped paths and seating including a fire pit, fountain, wind harp, and laurel maze, surrounded by a lush assortment of native plants and trees. Come read, reflect, and commune in this fresh, natural, flexible environment.
This May, we will be holding a Children's Book Drive, collecting books that will be given as prizes to children participating in our programs. You can help by donating new or gently-used children's books (preschool to 12th grade) to one of our branches. Thank you!
