[Earth Day 2019]

As far as we know, we are the only living intelligent creatures floating through our beloved little speck in the cosmos.
We are all bound to one responsibility to unite in one harmony. For us to live and take from our home, we need to remember that we need to give back for the future.
For all our future generations, may we all be a good example starting from doing earth-friendly lifestyle.
Happy Earth Day!

[#MeToo: The Talk, INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY CIMSA 2019]

On Saturday, 13th of April 2019, #MeToo: The Talk was held, a collaboration project of SCORA and SCORP CIMSA in celebrating this year's International Women's Day. #MeToo: The Talk focuses on issues surrounding sexual harassment and the struggles of getting justice in those critical cases.

This event featured several prominent figures who actively battle sexual harassment in Indonesia. The first was Risya A. Kori, gender specialist of UNFPA who gave us a look on the data of sexual harassment cases in Indonesia, a true look at how dire the situation has gotten and how male involvement and the power of social media would help decrease these numbers in the future. The second speaker was Anindya "Vivi" Restuviani, co-director of Hollaback! Jakarta, who introduced us to the methods of bystander intervention in countering sexual harassment in public spaces and ensured us of the importance of providing safe spaces for victims to recover and share their story. The final speaker was Nyimas Aliah, S.E. M.Ikom, one of the deputy assistants from KPPPA RI, who spoke to us regarding the role of the government and authority in tackling the sexual harassment issue in Indonesia.

There was also the talkshow session where participants were given the chance to ask questions or simply share their experiences around sexual harassment. A lively and invigorating discussion was held between the panel of experts and the participants, and everyone was listening in with open ears and hearts.

Thank you to everyone involved in the creation of #MeToo: The Talk, to all our media partners for sharing the words, and to all participants for making the event a success.

It is our hope and our goal that we, as youth, will be able to take part in the fight against sexual harassment and in providing safe spaces for victims to speak their truths.

[World Maternal Health and Rights Day]

Pregnancy and birth should be a healthy and positive experience for all women. We believe that all childbearing women should receive the best healthcare and support from their loved ones.

Today, let us remember all the rights of every mother to have access to the same high quality of care, whoever and wherever they are; to receive social, emotional, and physical support from their family; to have access and information to every procedure, tests, and treatment; to freely choose her delivery methods; and to have uninterrupted contact with her newborn.
