Live Burn training for our recently appointed Firefighters. Great training evolution for everyone involved!
Chief Mike Compton visited John Foster in the WCSI studio this morning, to talk about public safety and department news. We always enjoy the opportunity to come into the studio.
CFD Public Information Officer Capt. Mike Wilson joined the Q-Mix Wake up Crew this morning, to wish Brittany Gray congratulations as she moves on to a new adventure. Brittany has worked very closely with the CFD and the Columbus Firemen's Cheer Fund. We thank Brittany for the passion she has for our community and we wish her all the best.

CFD co-hosted Public Safety Family Fun Day this evening and we had a great time. We also want to thank the Columbus Police Department for hosting with us. We love our brothers and sisters in Blue!
City's North Side. Battalion Chief Terry Whitis discusses the scene of a residential fire with Capt. Rusty Thompson. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time. No injured were reported. Happy to report that working smoke alarms were present in this residence. Damages were confined to the area of origin in part  by efforts if our firefighters. Great work CFD.
Capt. Scott Bonnell directs these folks to smile for the camera as we prepare to take Tilly for a spin. Tilly was built by firefight Matt Noblitt and his father for use at community events. She is a true tiller as the rear axel an be driven by our firefighters.
Truck 1 at the 100 year celebration of Donner Park here in Columbus. It was a harm day but these firefighters are cool when it comes to supporting local events..
Motor Vehicle Crash with Entrapment- Columbus firefighters responded to serious crash Monday in the 2500 block of Indianapolis Rd. One driver was extricated from a vehicle and flown from the scene via IU Health Lifeline. Two others were transported via ambulance. The conditions of those injured is unknown at this time.
Residential Fire 1800 block of California. No injuries. Undetermined cause.
