#meetcfittrainers ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ’š Rebecca aka BECKY ๐Ÿ™Œ is an Instructor/Personal Trainer at Custom Fitness. โ€œI wear many hats in this journey I call my Life. ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿ‚My husband and I are beef farmers here in Gansevoort, NY.  I am also a ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿซsubstitute Teacherโ€™s Aide and School Monitor for schools in this area and a traveling ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿค Rodeo Secretary.
My ongoing quest to be physically fit and healthy began 20 years ago.๐Ÿ’ช
Personal weight training and group fitness classes have helped me to continue to reach my goals and given me the support I need to stay focused on the journey. 
Being healthy and fit is a choice we all have the freedom to make.  You just need to make it.โ€ Becky can do it all!!!!

This month, April 2019, we'd like to announce Narissa Liptak as the official Custom Fitness member of the Month!

When Narissa weighed herself in around 190-195, she knew she needed to do more than just count macros. She has struggled with her weight and self image her entire life.  Having a daughter who was struggling also, she made the decision to join Custom Fitness.  Narissa signed up for personal training with Sarah @sarahtoga_fitness , an amazing motivator!  Six weeks with her got her thru the holidays without gaining weight.  After setting a goal to be a certain weight by vacation, she came to work out 4-5 days a week.  She and her daughter added group fitness in and started taking Pound with Beverly, rockinโ€™ out, hitting things, and laughing with a great group of ladies. 
Today, she has lost 68 lbs and has muscles she can feel and see.  She knows she has lost multiple inches because her uniform belt can't go any smaller.  She says โ€œCustom Fitness gave me the extra motivation to help step up my game and get closer to my goal.โ€ We say we are the lucky ones. We get the privilege of being a part of her life long journey and get to watch as she does nothing but climb higher and higher to reach her goals.

Our 2019 Weight Loss Challenge Winner is Cindy Mitchell Kehn with a body weight % loss of 3.9%

This full-body boxing workout tests balance, agility and hand-eye coordination, all of which can be affected by Parkinson's. It also can build muscle strength, increase cognitive skills, and even offer an outlet for frustration toward symptoms or disease. This month, March 2019, we'd like to announce Paula Bolduc as the official Custom Fitness member of the Month!

Approximately 3 years ago, Paula started her membership and personal training with Sarah.  She has rheumatoid arthritis, had a knee replacement, shoulder surgery and back surgery.  Before joining the gym, she could barely walk without limping. She had struggles doing simple daily tasks and was frustrated that she couldnโ€™t play or keep up with her grandkids. She wanted a change, so she joined Custom Fitness.

When Paula started personal training with Sarah, she was doing the simplest of exercises with modifications.  After about 4 months of consistency and persistence, she ventured out and added boxing classes to her workouts.  3 years later and many pounds lost, she continues to enjoy her weekly personal training sessions as well as HIITz Total Body, Boxing, and Spinningยฎ classes where she loves to show off her strength and her โ€œnever quittingโ€ attitude to the โ€œyoungโ€ ladies. She is 54 years old and feels healthier than ever! 
She wanted to give a shout out and a thanks to all of her previous and current instructors, her trainer,  the โ€œfriendlyโ€ Custom Fitness  staff, and her classmates! 
We are so proud of your determination and desire to overcome your obstacles and become the stronger, healthier person you are now.

Coming from a strong athletic background, nursing a few ortho mishaps was the best thing I never expected. While learning to practice patience with my active mind and resting joints, I discovered a yoga video from Dylan Werner and I was HOOKED. I wandered into Kayla's newly opened studio and a yoga desire bloomed into an instructor certification. I later would be lucky enough to learn from Dylan, my first inspiration, in two separate training locations. Dylan tears down the "yoga  is only stretching" walls and promotes a whole-body, practical use practice. I am overwhelmed with gratitude to pass on my, always learning, knowledge to members, friends, and family. This month, February 2019, we'd like to announce Norma Myers as the official Custom Fitness member of the Month!
Norma has been working with Jeanie for a little over year. The moment she walked through the doors she has brought a willingness to always be challenged in her workouts and a dedication to improvement.  Her commitment to improving on the things that donโ€™t come easy has helped her to lose over 10 pounds and put a significant amount of muscle on.  Norma has a cheerful spirit, always welcoming to new members and sets a great example of hard work and leaving it all out there. 
We are so proud to know her and grateful to be the one she chose to take this journey with.
