We are often referred to as a “bridge from school to work.” Did you know that in 2017, more than 580 employers hired our graduates across the state? #comm_college #netDE
We often hear the phrase, "Delaware Tech is everywhere." From our associate degrees to workforce training to youth programs, we're serving Delawareans of all ages and backgrounds. How so? We're often referred to as a bridge from high schools to 4-year institutions, supporting students who are looking for a quality education prior to enrolling in a bachelor's degree program. #DTCCpride #netDE #comm_college
Madison McGee, an Indian River High School graduate, is a nursing student and a first-year member of the softball team. She’s a great student-athlete with a 3.4 GPA, and was one of the top hitters on the team as well as a defensive leader. She was recently named Second Team All-Region for this season. #DTCCathletics #dtccpride
In part of EMS week, we'd like to thank our students, graduates, and the entire Delaware workforce for your service to our communities. We're proud to prepare students in this particular field through our Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic associate degree and certificate program. Since it’s beginning, we have had 138 graduates from this program! #EMSWeek #EMSstrong #DTCCpride

Wrapping up our athletes of the week! Sean Sheehan, a graduate of Cape Henlopen High School, is an education major and a member of the men’s lacrosse team. He earned Second Team All-Region honors as a freshman, and was key to the team’s success this season. He scored eight goals in the team’s opening round victory of the 2018 Region XIX Men’s Lacrosse Tournament, and he is always a very hard worked on and off the field. #dtccathletics #dtccpride
If you attended the Stanton/Wilmington graduation ceremony Wednesday evening, you heard @johncarneyde speak about GRIT. GRIT, the combination of passion and perseverance, is a topic you will hear quite often at Delaware Tech. So many of our students exhibit GRIT, such as Frederick Paul Reich who earned an Associate of Science degree in General Science and proudly walked across the stage at the Georgetown Campus Tuesday evening. At the age of 64, Fred served in the Air Force, raised five children and three grandchildren, and endured a triple bypass and two rounds of chemotherapy. Despite numerous setbacks and surgical procedures, Fred remained focused on completing his degree. Fred extends many thanks to his Delaware Tech instructors, especially hematology instructor, Linda Collins, for their continued support. The entire Delaware Tech community was proud to see Fred earn his degree this week. Congratulations! #DTCCGrad2018 #DTCCpride
