If you suffer from pain or discomfort when you sleep it could be that you’re twisting! This can cause pressure on the lower back and spine.... so a simple solution is to pop a pillow or rolled towel  underneath to support! Amazing content from @vinnierehab and @lewfitness

Some GREAT advice from @lewfitness and we couldn’t agree more... life is for living, and any successful nutrition and exercise plan is one you’ll stick to! 🙌🏼 Tell yourself you can’t eat this and that on holiday and you’ll be miserable, oh, and you’ll probably cave in then go mad! Just keep active on holiday and when you get home, carry on where you left off 💁🏻‍♀️ Oh yeah, and don’t drop to low calories when you get home to ‘make up for it’

▪️ Have an actual goal, not just an idea like ‘I want to be slimmer’ BE SPECIFIC- how much slimmer? What weight, size!?
▪️PLAN your steps to get to your goal- make sure they’re realistic too- don’t say you’re going to train 5 times a week if you know you can’t keep it up! ▪️Reward yourself when you hit each mini goal, that way it’s more fun and...well, rewarding!
▪️Remember that it WILL be hard sometimes, but that’s what separates the winners and the losers... most people give up, but NOT YOU!

HOW TO GET GOING? Well, most people tend to start their handstand journey with exercises such as holding a headstand against a wall. If your goal is being able to do a freestanding handstand, the goal is worthy of your time and encourages many other physical skills 
The handstand does not require great strength or big muscles. Whilst you need a base level of strength, first you need to be able to hold yourself upside down, with the weight supported fully on your hands and shoulders - pretty obvious eh! This level of strength is much easier to build than most people think, but you need to train handstands frequently to achieve this.

Once you have mastered the foundations, you will find that the handstand changes. The training will become more skill base, rather than strength training, with the technique improving through repetition.

To get the best results, ideally you should practice handstands a little bit every day and this commitment will effortlessly grow into a habit that becomes part of your daily routine.

Glutes are all the rage, but it’s easy to forget hip adductor training to build a capable, strong lower body.

Your adductors may not be as powerful as the abductors, but they are just as essential and shouldn’t be neglected in training.

Groin injuries are very common in the gym, and a study published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine stated that hip adductor training was one of the most common risk factors for groin injury in support.

Try incorporating some adductor isolation exercises into your workout, alongside compound exercises, and this will make your training more effective and comprehensive.

🍕Get outdoors and be active!
🍕Limit your alcohol and calorie laden drinks- 4 fruit ciders equals around 1,300 Kcal!!

It’s national bikini day! 👙👙👙 A bikini diet should be maintained all year round as part of a consistent healthy lifestyle, but many of us want to loose a few extra pounds before getting out our bikinis and hitting the beach. 
You don’t need to follow a fad diet to help you along the way, but a few changes to your diet can make a huge difference. Add in strengthening and cardio exercise, and your body has no choice but to start using its excess fat and strengthening muscles – which gives you smooth, strong contours.

The Rules
💪Always eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.
💪Do eat 5 to 7 servings of fruit and veg daily.
💪Do eat a little protein at every meal.
💪Avoid sunflour and corn oils, and margarine.
💪 Don’t eat refined carbohydrates, processed foods and reduce your alcohol intake.
💪 Drink 6 to 8 large glasses of water daily – you could always flavour it with lemon, mint, ginger or strawberries if you prefer.
