There are two parts to alittle tashi 窶 the main Dining Room and a smaller Laundry Room at the back for drinks and bar bites. This is the Baked Mozzarella with Furikake ($10) which is available at the latter that is gooey and stringy, served like the good old malt candy!

Fortune 18 Yusheng ($23.9 for dine in, 2-4 pax or $36.9 for takeaway, 4-6 pax) is now available at Swensen窶冱 and Earle Swensen窶冱 islandwide till 2 March 2018. It comes with pomelo bits, shimeiji mushrooms, crispy wanton skin and smoked salmon, dressed with a sweet and sour plum sauce. The sauce was very appetizing which made us wiped the entire plate clean!

And one of the classics by Swensen窶冱 is the Crispy Cornflake Chicken ($15.6) 窶 think succulent boneless chicken meat with a fragrant crispy cornflakes skin!

Red Grouper Fish Head Steamboat ($22 for small) that is good for 2-3 people and we chose to have the fish meat (no fish bones yay!) without the fish head parts. Soup refill is available self service from the kitchen area! The meaty and thick slices of fish were very fresh and especially appetizing when dipped in the garlic-ky white vinegar sauce as it was tangy. The steamboat is served with a myriad of zichar dishes and you cannot miss out on the Tofu Prawns ($13 for small) with egg tofu, large prawns drenched in an almost-like-chilli-crab sweet, sour and spicy sauce. We also had the Sambal Sweet Potato Leaves ($6 for small) which unfortunately had too little sambal.

Slow Cooked Pork Rendang ($17) 窶 spices and herbs, mantou, crispy pork crackling. A flavorful and rich rendang sauce that goes well with the soft steamed mantous, but the pork could definitely be more tender 窶 part of @xiaoyatou.sg窶冱 new brunch menu available on weekends from 10am - 330pm.

The Tagliatelle Pollo ($22) was well tossed with garlic, chilli and sun dried tomatoes which resulted in a really fragrant plate of pasta. The tender chunky chicken pieces and generous amount of juicy mushrooms were a delight as you won窶冲 run out of ingredients to go with the carbs!

Salted York Chick N Waffles ($19) with 3 pieces of Southern Fried Chicken, Charcoal Waffles, Potato Gratin and Salted Egg Yolk Sauce. The idea of fried chicken and waffles still doesn窶冲 sit too well on me but having them separately was pretty enjoyable 窶 crispy fried chicken and some sweet fluffy waffles. As for the sauce, it was a little too milky for my liking and didn窶冲 do much to enhance the dish. I had it with my cuppa Flat White ($5.5) and yay to @theassemblyground carrying Nylon Coffee beans!

Bobii Fruitii, a Premium bubble tea brand from Taiwan opened its doors at The Clementi Mall today. The Uji Snow ($6.5) is made with high grade matcha powder from Uji and is hand whisked on the spot to prepare a fresh cup of matcha every single time. The matcha tasted well balanced with a hint of bitterness without being overly sweet, which I appreciate in a cup of bubble tea. The pearls on the other hand, were inconsistent in the two cups that I had with one being too soft and lacking in the chewy texture of pearls!
