Here are my thoughts and observations on the current climate of the health and fitness industry in 2019:
. - ‘Fast Food’ society 
What I mean by this, is that majority of people are still looking for that ‘quick fix’ and want results now! Facts are that real results take time, but sadly most aren’t willing to make the necessary lifestyle adjustments.
. - Mixed messages reign supreme 
Everywhere you look and everyone you speak to has a different take on what you need to do to lose weight or get in shape. This creates confusion and frustration. Facts are that there is no one right or wrong way to get the results you are looking for, whether it’s paleo, keto, vegetarian, vegan, cross fit or F45, it all works, you just have to find the one that fits for you!
. - Instagram Vs Reality 
Still too many people out there comparing themselves to others on Instagram. Not only with health and fitness, but LIFE! This is a sure fire way to be a pessimist and live with jealousy and anger towards others. Gratitude plays a massive part in this and actually training yourself to look for the positives in every situation. Instagram is a highlight reel, don’t forget that! Be grateful for what you have in your life and the world is a much better place. .

Legs and booty workout using the @sklzaustralia mini bands. This is a great little workout that can literally be done ANYWHERE!
. - 10 Monster walks each side .
- 10 kickbacks each side .
- 10 lateral raises each side .
*move band above knees*
. - 10 crab walks each side .
- 10 knee ups each side .
- 10 squat hold lateral pulses .
*lay down*
. - 10 clams each side .
- 10 hip raises with knee outs .

Rest and repeat 3-5 times, depending on how much you want to burnnnnn 🔥 .

Couple of copy cats (aka distractions 😜) pop up during this video, but they love it! .

Foam rolling before a workout is a great way to prepare the muscle before exercise. It also helps relieve soreness and prevent injury

Today we gave our members a challenge during Bootcamp. We had the prowlers going for 45 minutes during our usual session. We told them we would donate $1 to the @rchmelbourne Good Friday Appeal for every lap they completed. It was great to see what an amazing community we have in our gym and the support they gave to each other
.
Together we completed 208 laps. So we are starting off our Good Friday charity Bootcamp with $208 in the kitty
.
We want to smash last years donation of $600 and so far we are off to a good start
.
If you don’t have plans, come down this Friday for a free Bootcamp and help us reach our goal, if you can’t make it that’s ok we have a money tin in the gym you can make donations all week. .
