As I attend the funeral and celebrate the life of my colleague and friend, the late Fulton County Commissioner Emma I. Darnell, I reflect on my own life today. Today is bittersweet. After being rear ended and pushed into a concrete wall in February of this year, I thank God for my life. I'm so grateful to wake up every day. I thank God for another birthday and everyone in my life. Over a decade ago, I prayed and asked God to bless me to be a blessing to millions of people. He answered that prayer by blessing me to be elected as Fulton County Commissioner of District 4. I am so thankful and grateful for the life that God has blessed me with and the opportunity to serve so many people. I love you all! 🤗🙏🏽❤🎁🎂🎉🎈💐🙌
Wishing a #HappyMothersDay to all the wonderful moms in our lives! 🌹
What a beautiful day! We’re so glad the rain held up. I was happy to present a proclamation to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Historic Washington Park! Thank you to At-Large Atlanta City Councilmember Michael Bond, District 3 Atlanta City Councilmember Antonio Brown, the Atlanta BeltLine, City of Atlanta Department of Parks and Recreation, Park Pride, Representative Able Mable Thomas, and many other awesome participants for putting on this great event. Also, a special thank you to the Fulton County Departments who came out to support our District 4 residents. #jazzinthepark @atlantabeltline #fultoncounty #washingtonpark #atlantacitycouncil #fulcod4 @nataliewhall
