Hi everyone! Hope your holidays have gone off on a good start!
A team of councillors have gone through a few months of training and planning with TOUCH Community Services to learnt about social entrepreneurship. Our councillors will be setting up a booth from 10am to 9pm at The Giving Family Festival at OCBC arena outside Stadium MRT from 4th to 5th Nov.
We will be selling potted plants propagated from our school's rooftop garden and tote bags, and there are exciting games with attractive prizes to be won! More details of our booth will be posted on the actual day! .
All proceeds will go to TOUCH Community Services to support their work with the beneficiaries so come be a blessing to someone!
Hope to see you there!
Congratulations to our 8th EXCO for leading and guiding the Student Council to greater heights from 2016-2017! The council has certainly flourished under their leadership.

During the 9th Student Council Investiture which will happen tomorrow, the 8th EXCO will be passing on their great work to the 9th EXCO. The council wishes them all the best and congratulates the appointment of the 9th EXCO in advance. May the council continue to flourish under the 9th EXCO's leadership.
Thank you for the councillors who have participated in the Cross Country duty today!

Even though some of you were called down for last minute deployments to serve the school, the event ran smoothly.

As the March holidays approaches, take some time to think what is the difference between a great leader and a good leader. In what ways are they different from one another?

"When an old man plants a tree he knows well that he will not live to see the plant grow up to bear fruits, or enjoy its shade, and no one will ever ask who planted the tree but still he does it so that his future generation will be benefit from it and this is the meaning of servant leadership". Hey Councillors and Trainees, we hope that you have enjoyed and learnt a lot during this camp. Although it was tiring, at the same time is was enriching 💪 Hope that you have plenty of rest and are ready for the coming events ! May you be able to apply the different things that you have learnt and even share it those that could not attend this camp. I hope you found your purpose of being a councillor and have the conviction in your heart to serve and lead.

As for the council pictures taken, it will be uploaded onto the SC website soon and please remember to finish the reflection on the asknlearn forum. Let's all remember and encourage others to give and not expect anything in return :)
