Today we say #thankyou and #goodbye to these two wonderful women! Sister Barbara Cline, FSE, (left) is retiring after 11 years of service as the director of faith formation. Sister Trinidad (Triny) Duque, MC, (right) has received a new assignment from her order and will be leaving the diocese after serving for 17 years as a regional coordinator for Hispanic Ministry. Join us in thanking these women for their dedication, spirit, and work of evangelization in our diocese.

Bishop Walkowiak visiting @notredamedeparis and lighting three candles near the statue of St. Joan of Arc there during a 2013 pilgrimage.
At the time, he was a priest of the @dioceseofcle and pastor of St. Joan of Arc Parish in Chagrin Falls, but it would soon be announced that he was being appointed the 12th bishop of @grdiocese.
On Monday, Bishop Walkowiak was interviewed by local media about the #NotreDame fire: While a horrible thing to witness, "It's a good reminder to us, that we don’t put our faith in created things. Our faith is something that is indestructible," he said.
