Low Carbon Mobility (LCMB) division conducted a Focal Group Discussion (FGD) on Biofuel and Biogas as an alternative Fuel for Transportation at Marriot Putrajaya Hotel on 18th April 2019. This is part of the effort for the development of Low Carbon Mobility and towards realising the Action Plan (LCMB) document under The GEF5-UNIDO: Energy-Efficient Low-Carbon Transport in Malaysia Project.

The objective of the FGD is to gather input from the various biofuel and biogas stakeholders to complete the LCMB documentation.
GreenTech Malaysia Open Day kicked off in Penang today showcasing Green Catalyst, Low Carbon Cities, Sustainable Energy & Green Advisory, Low Carbon Mobility, Corporate Services & Governance, IGEM & NEA 2019.
Malaysia officially agreed to participate at the International Expo Dubai 2020 for 6 months from 20 October 2020 to 10 April 2021.

Secretary General of Ministry of Energy, Science, Technology, Environment, & Climate Change Malaysia, Datuk Seri Dr. Mohd. Azhar Yahya, led the Malaysian delegation to Dubai for the official signing of the expo agreement. The delegation which included GreenTech Malaysia's Acting CEO, Syed Ahmad Syed Mustafa, also visited the site where the Malaysia Pavilion would be built. 
GreenTech Malaysia in the past was involved in the implementation and curation of programmes at the Astana Expo 2017.

Malaysian Debt Ventures issues RM270 million Islamic Medium Term notes.
From 20th to 22nd March 2019, GreenTech Malaysia trained 20 Navy officers at Lumut Naval Base to be Energy Auditors to support PELAN Green Navy 2018 – 2030. Among the action plans are to carry out energy audit and setting up a Sustainable Energy Management System (SEMS) to support Low Carbon City Framework (LCCF) by achieving one (1) Diamond in LCCF recognition.
