UPPER BODY + BOXING 💥

High volume with all moves in the 30 rep range. Heres a little snippet of one of the circuits. The last move is a perfect example of what to do when you're failing so you don't compromise form!
Pick moderate weight to begin with and when you see your self failing...DONT STOP! Simply drop the weight so you can compete the set! I don't do cardio (except boxing) so I enjoy mixing cardio-type moves like  battle ropes, sleds and sprints into my strength training circuits 🔥

Hammer curl to shoulder press x 30 reps

Resistance band tricep extension x 30 reps

Battle ropes x 30 slams. I was exhausted at 20 so I dropped one of them and did the last 10 with the single rope!

A little snippet of today’s full body circuit!

Squat to press x 16 reps (make sure that your knuckles are facing up to the sky when you press...do not let your wrists break on the press!)
Squat to ball toss x 10 reps each side
Switch lunge to ball slam x 8 reps each side

Repeat this circuit for 3 rounds with 30 sec rest between!

When you’ve slept well for 2 nights in a row and feel obligated to give your new mattress a giant shoutout before tossing the box! Thank you guys for your suggestions! I ended up going with @compassandstar based on the reviews you gave me anddddd getting to try it out for 100 days is always comforting!
If you follow my stories you know I often stay up past 3-4am working. Partly because I just couldn’t sleep and partly because I would end up starting my day later from not being able to sleep lol. Someone had mentioned it might be my mattress and I hadn’t even thought about that! Getting a good nights rest is important for your diet and fitness goals BUT it’s just as important for all other aspects of your life as well! I found myself waking up later than desired after late nights and then it just spun my entire day into a ruckus. For me personally, lack of sleep was affecting my daily speed and attentiveness so this was a pretty big deal for me and my fast paced life.

Mattresses can be pricy and I have a king size bed so this was very affordable plus they ran a sale for Presidents’ Day that I was able to take advantage of. So far, no complaints with this new bad boy but I’ll keep you posted throughout the next 2-3 weeks as I continue to break it in!

How to pack your supps when traveling! All supps are exclusively discounted at Arod.bpisports.com with code AR20 - Here are some of my personal faves and how I save a TON of room in my luggage. No one wants to be lugging around giant bottles of pills and powders (we need that room for shoes and bikinis 🤷🏻‍♀️)

POWDERS
- Protein powder - place a serving (1-2 scoops) in individual baggies. They are great for the airport as a quick snack or post workout while away!
- CLA/carn mix - place a serving (1 scoop) in baggies. This is a great non-stim fat burner for those sensitive to caffeine and i usually have a scoop with my bfast
- Keto Bomb - I usually never have a full scoop so I actually just place a bunch in one baggies and then scoop out as much as I want to add to my coffee each morning!
- BCAAs - I take more than a serving per day because this makes for not only a great intra workout BUT also great for mornings after a long night of drinking 🤭 (better be safe than sorry!)

PILLS
- Joint formula - one of the downsides to lifting weights is that it does take a toll on your ligaments so I take this with breakfast every morning! Place in a ziplock and label (you can also label with time of day to take them)
- Fat Burner - Roxylean is what I recommend for my clients. Although the bulk of weight loss comes from diet and exercise, supps can help give you an extra push and suppress your appetite. This one is strong and contains niacin so you might feel flushed and red for 30 mins initially - it’s perfectly normal and goes away! :)

Liquid Enhancers
- these are my absolute FAVORITE andddd let’s be real...these are great for flavoring alcoholic drinks and a much better option than sugary juices. These aren’t meant to replace your supps but moreso give you an extra dose throughout the day. Think of it as a supplement to your supplements!

You also know I love to dance (and lip sync but that’s another story 🤣) Combining body weight movements and syncing them to the beat of the music is the perfect combo to keep working out FUN! -
I was introduced to @StrongByZumba and fell in love after my first class! Now...I’m hooked! There are days that I love to lift weights and there are plenty of other days where I simply don’t want to use equipment at all! If you’re having trouble finding motivation when it comes to staying active try blasting some music or jumping into a group class!

Figure maintained year round - even in the midst unlimited luxury at #breathlessrivieracancun. I don’t believe in extremes. I don’t believe in ‘cutting’ or ‘bulking’. I don’t believe in completely eliminating any food groups you love - in my case wine, tequila and sweets. From personal experience, I believe that deprivation simply leads to binges and why many people give up on their fitness goals and lose weight only to regain it back and then some.

You overeat and binge because you think you’ll never have that food again. Truth of the matter is, it’s never the last time. It’s actually the START of a vicious downward spiral of fear and guilt. You vow to restrict yourself from all of the “bad” foods until you are thin/buff/wearing a smaller size.
But when fear and failure drive you, how can you possibly succeed?

How many times have you been going around and around? Once you choose to free yourself from restrictive eating, you will be free to spend your energy on emotional, spiritual, and physical parts of your life.  You may even begin to do all the things you have been waiting to do until you found diet success, instead of spending your time obsessing over a set of rules that have failed you time and time again.

Vacations can be as detrimental as you want them to be 🤷🏻‍♀️ Do you think I brought meals with me and boarded the plane with a lunch box? HECK NO! 🙅🏻‍♀️ Make healthy choices MOST of the time. When you’re craving something - have it! In moderation of course. Allowing yourself to have a treat without feeling guilty about it is what will keep you sane and on track. And no, a cookie or shot of tequila won’t hinder your fitness goals. Deprive yourself of that cookie and end up eating an entire box in a sitting later - that’s when the downward spiral hits!

While on vacay or eating out, opt for fresh ceviche instead of burritos. If you like nachos, order them for the table and put a couple on your plate and then stop. If you want chocolate, take a spoonful, savor it, and then decide if you really need another one! Pick your vices! If you want dessert, skip the appetizer!
