I believe, in order to succeed, I have to stay positive and happy. Work hard and don't give up hope. Be open to criticism and keep learning. Surround myself with happy, warm and genuine people and don't be afraid to work with the best!⁣⠀
Now it's your turn, what do you believe you need to do in order to succeed? ⁣⠀
I admit it feels awkward, but I’m still going to introduce myself anyway! It’s my way to connect with new friends and give me an excuse to chat with old ones. I’m Ina, and I am a web designer and tech mentor and I love what I do. ⠀
Working for three entrepreneurs with completely different personalities in the past 15 years, I realised I wanted more. I took a gamble and left my 9-5 job to follow my passion and my dream to inspire and support passionate business owners who are just starting out through engaging design, honest education and valuable knowledge, teach them hot to turn their vision into reality and advise them on the right and easy to use technologies they need to run their online business but I also love to spend time with my family and my blind puppy Freddy…he gives me the boost of energy and positivity whenever I feel down. Whenever I’m working or relaxing, I’m the happiest at that about you? Let me know who you are in the comments below because I’d love to say hello!⠀
When you start with intention, you create with purpose. This is the backbone of the design process.⁣⠀
Here is small project I wrapped up few weeks ago. Although I am trying to niche down and focus mainly on Interior Designers and Photographers because I have a passion for beautiful spaces, architecture and photography, I don’t turn down those who I know can benefit from my help.
It’s so easy to target the big names but that doesn’t fulfil me. Helping local small businesses is what moves me forward, knowing that I set a strong foundation so they can now build on it and make it bigger and stronger.
Just because someone is just starting out in business it doesn’t mean they have to settle for the basic, we managed to create a website which started working for itself within 48hours of been published, we created a local SEO and optimised the website for an easy reach and we set up an on-boarding and off-boarding process for their clients for an easy booking and communication. …and the best part, the client couldn’t have been more happier! 🙌🏻
So, yesterday was one those days where some might have thought, it’s happening, the end of social media was here. Some described it as social media apocalypse. The idea of the world without social media seems unthinkable, however, situations like these might make us, the business owners rethink how we can promote our valuable skills and get seen in a different way. ⠀
One of the ways is Email Marketing. The most tried and proven way of building your own audience and yet not many people are doing it. ⠀
Here is how you can get started today:⠀
1| Understand your audience - know who you want to serve. Get to know them, learn how to reach them, understand what’s important to them. What are their struggles, what is their pain point…?⠀
2| Develop your strategy - work out how you want to grow your list. Never put all your eggs in one basket. Try a different way to attract your ideal client. Like, freebie opt-in on your website via a pop-up or in the footer, host giveaway where in order to enter they have to sign up to your list, create free content on your blog post, collaborate and share your list with other creatives or create online quizzes or surveys.⠀
3| Create valuable free content you can exchange for someone’s email address. BUT don’t just put anything out there, create something you know your audience needs, give an answer to a frequently asked question, give a solution to their problem and they will happily give their email address in return. They will love you and they respect you because you found the answer to their pain point. ⠀
4| Leverage your email list - use Pinterest. Pinterest is actually a search engine like Google which allows people to find the answer to their problems based on keywords. Create high-quality pins for your opt-in and link it to your sign-up page and drive traffic to your website for free.⠀
Setting up the sign-up form is really easy. Use one of the free email marketing service providers like MailChimp which is free for 2000 subscribers, create your first list and a sign-up form and embed it on your website. ⠀
Let me know if the above information is helpful to you and what else you would like to learn and find answers fo

Because we are women, people will force their thinking on us, and their boundaries on us. They will tell us how to dress, how to behave, who we can meet and where we can go. Don't live in the shadows of people's judgement. Make your own choices in the light of your own wisdom.

Here’s to strong women! #internationalwomensday #strongwomen
If they tell you, you shouldn't do it, do it anyway! How else are you going to know if your idea works or not if you don't try it? I learn from my own mistakes and not someone else's.
Here is a little peek of my website. The design is coming together quite nicely. So many good things are coming your way.......for those who are just starting out and need the guidance and also for those who feel disconnected with their website and want something new and fresh.

Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy. Believe in yourself, and the rest will fall into place.
Today is one of those days where I just want to hide from the world. I am staring at the blank page and the thoughts are just not flowing in. But I am not going to punish myself for not trying hard. The opposite, I am giving myself permission to slow down and step back and celebrate the small moments. ⠀
Success is not a matter of having big ambitions and high expectations but fully utilizing the small moments of achievement by putting one foot in front of the other and keep going.
So I started working on my website but it’s so hard when you have to design for yourself. I have to keep reminding myself that it’s not about me but it’s about the user. I have to see the website through the eyes of the viewer. It’s so easy to drift off and design a website which I like and I want but that doesn’t necessarily mean that my audience would like and understand. ⁣⠀
The website shouldn’t just be a reflection of your vision but it also needs to serve the purpose. When you work on the design don't just focus on the visual aspect of the website but also think about the user experience. At the end of the day, your audience comes to your website to find an answer to their problems and they need to find it fast.
