Looking forward to another year of bringing the community together around our Watershed! Happy 2019! 🌄🌲🎆
What a nice day for a walk to Deer Creek! Thanks to @siskiyoufieldinstitute for hosting the event, and for everyone who came to learn about salmon and our Watershed!
Our volunteers battled thick mud and slippery slopes for our planting day. Their muddy gear speaks for itself!

What an amazing restoration day! We planted approximately 2000 plants with local volunteers and students from the Three Rivers School District SMILE clubs at the Waldo-Takilma ACEC in partnership with the Bureau of Land Management, KS Wild, and the Native Plant Society of Oregon.
Thank you to all our supporters and volunteers! Keep an eye out for future restoration events, explore your public lands, and plant native plants! #oregon #publiclands #southernoregon #volunteer #restoration #nativeplants #community
Another wonderful site visit to Page Creek with the IV Watershed Council! We’ve got projects and partnerships brewing on some truly beautiful land here in the Illinois Valley. Improved fish habitat, better water quality, and flow throughout the year makes for a healthier environment and stronger, more resilient community.

The Science and Math Family Night Aquarium building was a hit! So wonderful to meet all those Illinois Valley families and talk about salmon in our schools!
$8 Mountain had some beautiful views while out learning about photo monitoring with the @u.s.forestservice ! We hope to do some community engagement and education events focusing on the purpose and need for protections of this botanical area and others in the Illinois Valley. Restoration will likely occur as well to help the habitat out here recover from the wildfires!
Happy native plant sale! So excited to be supporting the native plant community, all thanks to our human community! Keep an eye out for the next sale in the spring 🌿🌱🌲
