On February 14, 2016, Michelle Boyd-DeJong, a native of Quincy resident was passed away at age of 29 years old in Tampa, Florida when she was diagnosed of brain cancer on March 14, 2014.
This month of May, it's National Brain Tumor Awareness.
I realized every story that I have been reading on the newspaper or on the news or on the social media are talking about brain cancer.

It was scary. It was a personal. It was devastating for every family members, loved ones and caregivers are going through their tough times and challenges that they faced.

I have a good friend, Officer Sean Glennon of @quincypolicedepartment and the Glennon family shared their story about Avery's health was diagnosed of brain cancer at @bostonchildrens in the past years when she was younger.
Everybody in the City of Quincy are hearing all over in the neighborhood about Avery's health.
Someone asks, "what can I do to help for the Glennon family about their daughter, Avery's health?" All you have to do is pray for Avery's road to the recovery.

Few months and years later, Avery became a cancer free and officially cancer survivor. She fought in the battle of brain cancer for long time. And yes, she is fighter, never quit and never give up. She is a Glennon inside her blood cell.

Please join me to help those people were diagnosed of brain cancer over the past decades or years based on their health issues.
I ask you to wear gray t-shirt, gray jacket, gray pants or any type of clothing for this worthy cause in the community. #QuincyMA #BeTheGood #GoGrayInMay
