Dear Mr. Prime Minister
I am a 14 year old boy living in Delhi. I was born here and I love my city! But I sometimes feel that Delhi doesn't love me. I have asthma. I have always had it. Since as long as I can remember I have had trouble breathing and it is getting worse each year. Doctors say it is because of the air I breathe but in my science class I have learned that air is supposed to help us survive but when I go outside of my home, it feels like this air is killing me. I do not know what me and my friends have done to deserve this.
We have never driven a car. Our parents do it. We never wanted to burst any crackers. Our parents bought them for us. We have never worked in pollution causing factories. We have never lit bonfires. We never wanted our Delhi to be like this! But this is what we have been given to us by our parents. I am a 14 year old boy, I may not know what can be done to make Delhi's air better but I do know that we children did not anything to deserve this. I request you to do something about this. Help us breathe!
