There are only a handful of moments in your life where you feel truly called to make a pivot. The women behind #JoanOfSparc were each brought to this project from their own unique paths. We are so excited and grateful for the opportunity to help build a space where women can come together and grow in community and consciousness. That being said, the closer we get to launching our full platform the more we realize that we can't do this alone. (And that is where you come in!) One week from today we'll be sharing a call to action for our crowd funding campaign, and we sincerely hope that you'll join us in making this dream a reality. We'd also love to continue to show up for you however possible- if you have a new project or passion you'd love for us to check out and follow along with, tag it in the space below!
“Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” - Harriet Tubman | 🌿 Tag someone lovely below who may need this precious reminder.
🌿 Meet @SarahEngelhart333 - An incredible creator and one of the sweet hearts behind #JoanOfSparc | "There is something deep within your heart that knows the Truth. It always has and it always will. Trust it. Trust Love. Not what your mind tells you, or what your habits propel you to. Trust the Love that you know in your bones." 📸: @hopeleigh
Pause. Let this be your reminder to take #SelfCareSunday seriously. To check in and see if your mind and body are in need of play or rest. | 🌿 Tag a friend who may need the reminder below.
It is a good moment astrologically to look at our relationship to self care and to find balance.  At times, our sense of self-esteem can be threated when we step off the treadmill and particiate in self care rituals. But true self care only enriches our lives. What is one way you are going to nourish your being today?
“It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent.” - Madeleine Albright | 📸: @samscrim
Let’s talk New Moon as of 11:01 PST we are in a new moon in Virgo. With Neptune opposing this moon and a sextile to Jupiter, we have a boost towards creativity and simultaneously a hint towards reflection and rest. It is important to stay aware of any tendency to escape and instead lean into Virgo as she invites us to analyze our current vision. Pluto is also in the mix, helping us to see what lies underneath this transition from summer into fall.
Self-Care is a necessity to journey through with ease. Now is the perfect time to start planting seeds for new ideas, projects and shifts you would like to see blossom around the full moon on September 24th and carry us through until October.
Joan of Sparc aspires to be a meeting place for women to connect and grow online. Where women are encouraged to listen to their own inner voice and become leaders. While our full platform is still being built, we have launched (link in bio) to update you on what’s to come and how you can get involved. We’d love to hear more about what you hope to gain from #joanofsparc so feel free to let us know in the comments below! ❤️
Trust yourself. The wisdom and guidance you have inside yourself is powerful and pure. ~ Greta Eagan
It’s not about postponing happiness until everything works out just right in our lives. There is joy to be had in the here and now, in the wild, miraculous and sometimes messy sweat and tears of existence. I’ve found that the more I count my blessings and just give thanks for all that has been given, that gratitude is like a magnet for more good. I️ love the Hawaiian Ho’oponopono prayer for reconciliation and forgiveness. These simple yet profound words can help heal our relations, including the relationship we have with our own self.
I️ love you. I’m sorry. Forgive me. Thank you. ~ Jacqui Lalita
We really have to take care of ourselves. It is so important. There might be a journey of the healing process (mental, physical and spiritual) that can be painful as we reflect on ourself. Learning to love that and have compassion allows us to grow. Be patient and loving throughout the process as this is how we tend to this piece of the earth’s garden. We are always growing...” ~ Patty Yu
The people I find most beautiful and inspiring are those who are entirely, unapologetically, themselves. Who have found their purpose and their voice and are courageous enough to express them. ~ Kiki Falconer
