Teachers at Garwood Elementary hold Morning Meetings to build a strong community within their classroom 💕
Mountain View HS students, the only students at the Bridging the Gap Dinner program this weekend, did a tremendous job of addressing parent concerns and providing a wealth of knowledge about how teens think. Parents from around the area came to ask the kid panel the hard questions: how to best address their own children about the internet, cell phones, cyber bullying, teen sex, pregnancy prevention, etc. MVHS students moved from table to table in pairs during a 3-course meal so the parents were exposed to a variety of kids for questions and discussion. They did phenomenal! The parents were so grateful and did not want the evening to end🌟🌟🌟
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is on stage now at Lakeland HS. The Theatre class is having an amazing opening night but you can still come see it Friday @ 7pm or Saturday @ 2 and 7pm. Such a treat - you will be like a little kid again while you watch the magical musical 💫🎭🤹🏼‍♀️
