Why was it SO hard to get us to go to bed at night, take naps and eat everything on our plate when we were kids? As adults, we have no problem cleaning a plate and sometimes all we want to do is sleep. Lol. How the tables turn! Lol

People eat higher calorie AND eat MORE than ever before.

TIP:
- Split meals when dining out
- Cut extra unnecessary calories like sodas, toppings, sauces, etc.
- Eat your higher calorie foods early in the day when you are most likely to burn it off.
- Treat treats like treats. Sodas, ice cream etc are treats to enjoy every once and a while. They used to be a treat the family would enjoy once a week, not once (or more) a day.
- Don’t biggie size stuff.
- Slow down and eat slow .

How many times have you seen an actor or actress for the first time and thought where did he/she come from? Don’t you know Jennifer Lopez didn’t just want to be a back up dancer on In Living Color? Can you imagine the painful waiting game Maria Carey went through as a measly backup singer, when she could ousting practically anyone?

Countless athletes were nothing but benchwarmers at the games, but kept showing up and practicing like the were the starting quarterback. And yet we tend to sing our sad song at the first glimpse of defeat just because we aren’t getting what we think we deserve in the time we demand.

If you want to get ahead, get over it! Get over the demands, the expectations and woe is mes! Instead, work like you already achieved it. Do the do! Be patient and persistent and soon you will be the one people are whispering about because in their eyes you are an overnight success!

One of the biggest mistakes someone can make is to think “you can’t”. It’s so common for someone to let an injury get them down and stop them in their tracks. Or, to let a limitation keep them from trying - from not having the proper resourses to having perfect health. The fact is, you can always do SOMETHING!
.
If you don’t have your health, you can still eat healthy. If you have one body part that’s injured, you have other body parts that work fine. You may not be able to do what you WANT TO DO but you can do the next best thing. You may not have anyone to support you, but you can meet new people who will!
.
The bottom line is, there is always something you CAN DO even when you feel like there are things you can’t.

2 strangers who met at the gym and quickly became special friends. It all started after taking a leap of faith to do our 6 Week Challenge (Link in bio). Even though their challenge is over and they achieved SO much, their journey continues as they both continue to live the new fit life together as friends, workout partners and accountability partners.
