12 students of #MAMS went to The Doon School, Dehradun to observe the prestigious The Doon School Model United Nations Conference (DSMUN). Such school visits are one of the best ways to gain #professional learning and indispensable exposure. It was inspiring to see such a committed and welcoming group of #Students, #teachers and #administrators.
The entire programme of DSMUN was organised by the students themselves, a brilliant display of student #leadership in itself. Everything starting from the #cleanliness on campus to the #logistical arrangements was up to the mark and there were numerous things to learn from and imbibe from this #experience.
Our students and teachers interacted proactively with students and the MUN #delegates. All in all, it was an enriching experience to visit The Doon school. We would like to thank Mr Mohit Sinha, the faculty coordinator and hope he will give our students a chance to participate as delegates in next year's conference. 🏫🤗
The Independence Day Celebrations were held at MAMS on 14th August 2019. The #MAMS Campus was abuzz with tremendous patriotic fervor and zeal. The event was graced by the honorable Chief Guest, Former Director General of Police (Uttarakhand) Shri Aloke Lal and by the Guest of Honour, Mr Manas Lal, a promising artist, columnist and musician based in Dehradun.
The entire campus was decorated with balloons, rangoli and banners symbolic of the tricolor which set the ambience for the occasion in a perfect way.
Guests and audience witnessed a mesmerizing cultural programme by the students of MAMS. The performances began with a traditional welcome
dance. The other key highlights of the event were a Patriotic dance drama, a skit by junior students, a group patriotic song, a Yoga display and to conclude, a Human Pyramid depicting the strength of unity and teamwork. The Patriotic dance drama beautifully depicted the life and sacrifices of the soldiers, which made us feel proud of them and filled us all with patriotic fervour.
The honorable Principal of the school, Mr Prasenjit Chakraborty spoke about the significance of the day and introduced the guests to the audience and furthermore welcomed the guests on this auspicious occasion. The Chief Guest addressing the students and staff in the audience said that we should be proud that we are able to celebrate this day in a free nation and laid emphasis on remaining united. The Guest of Honour stressed on the importance of freedom of ideas congratulating the school management for its innovative approach in promoting sports and other activities.

Concluding the event, the Director of the school presented the Vote of Thanks informing that the celebrations were held in advance in lieu of Raksha Bandhan and he went on to inspired the students to become responsible citizens who devote their life to the service and development of this great nation.
This morning, on 15th August, the School conducted a Flag hoisting ceremony with a relevant theme: "Unity In Diversity". Representatives of different states , religion and culture together sang the National Anthem displaying their oneness and solidarity. 🇮🇳
Wishing all our fellow countrymen a very Happy #independenceday. May we all work with our full potential to bring prosperity and abundance in our nation.
We ought to introspect for new ways to achieve our own #objectives and #mission rather than estimating our potential by looking at others successes. We ought to strive for improvement in all spheres to take this #nation to greater heights in memory of those who sacrificed their lives so that we could live in absolute #freedom.

May those ideals and may that urge to #learn and to listen and to become better, may that curiosity and may that fraternalism, always be with us. May it always bless us, and always bless #India.
God bless. Jai Hind. 🇮🇳 #happyindependenceday
An Inter #School #Patriotic #Dance Drama Competition was organized by MAMS Junior Wing on Saturday, 10th August 2019. Several schools including Jyoti Special School, Sanskriti School, DSB, DPS, AHPS, RIS, NDS, Manas International School, Brain Discovery School and Foothills Academy participated in this event.

The stage came alive when students of various schools staged spectacular dances in the competition.

Dance #competitions are a great way to build emotional resilience in children. Such #events provide a platform to kids to not only showcase their talents but also to gain emotional strength. Furthermore, children also learn to accept criticism gracefully.

Dance competitions in schools enforce #students and teachers to perform better to meet their highest possible standards. Competitive events give students a goal to work towards and to strive for! With hours of practice, children tend to work harder for a more polished performance displaying better technique.
Additionally, dance-drama together plays a duel role facilitating dancing and soft skills development at the same time. This aspect of #learning is very much needed for children at a younger age.

The dance troupes from various schools mesmerized the audience with their performances based on Patriotism. The attractive costumes, fluid dance movement, heard wrenching scripts, and fascinating props made it difficult for the judges to decide the winner. The judges for the day were Mrs Madhavi Bhattacharya, Mrs Shalini Swarup and Captain Ajay Swarup. The honourable Chief Guest was Mrs Jyoti Dhawan.

The first position was bagged by DSB (Rishikesh), second position by DPS (Ranipur) and third position by MAMS. As MAMS was the host school, we graciously passed on the trophy to AHPS, Hardwar.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Yesterday, MAMS celebrated #Worldseniorcitizenday with grandparents.

Grandparents are the family's greatest treasure, the founders of loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, the keepers of traditions. They have played a key role in taking forward Indian culture, traditional, and values.
The function started with welcoming the special guests Ms Nirmal Kapoor, Mrs Urmil Kapoor, Mrs Asha Singh and Mrs Asha Khandelwal by classical dance performance. The little ones dedicated a sweet dance to their Dadis.

We also organized different games for the grandparents in which they participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The winners from the games were greeted with gifts.

It was a successful event indeed, and the school as always will be pleased to organize many more events in the future. #school #entrepreneur #india #entrepreneurship #mams #education #students
#Rural #Healthcare is one of biggest challenges facing the #Health Ministry of #India. With more than 70 percent population living in rural areas and low level of health facilities, mortality rates due to diseases are on a high.
A majority of over 700 million people live in rural areas where the condition of medical facilities is deplorable. Considering the picture of grim facts there is always a dire need of new practices and procedures to ensure that quality and timely healthcare reaches the deprived corners of the Indian village community.
We at MAMS take great pride in announcing that @srhusocial Swami Ram Himalayan University, Jolly Grant (Hospital) will be opening a Rural Medical Training Centre and OPD at the MAMS Senior Wing Campus, Tehri Farm. This facility is dedicated to the people of Gauri Mafi and is open to the public from the nearby villages.

It is in line with our Founder's vision & mission towards community development, nation-building and all-round service for the underserved. We hope the people provide support towards this initiative and make judicious use of the facilities available to them. 🥼⚕️⛑️👩‍⚕️
