Your environment is stronger then your willpower. You have to go to an environment that supports where you want to go or who you want to be.

We must go and seek the tribe that is at the next phase of where we want to be.

Meaning- if you want to be healthier, happier & in better shape, you should surround yourself with others who are working on just that.

But what if you aren’t there yet, what if You don’t feel worthy of being a part of that tribe because you don’t live that life...yet.

Seek out People that are living the life you want. They will motivate you, encourage you & support you to grow into the person you want to be. & chances are the only difference between you & them? They’ve just already found their tribe.

Want something you’ve never had? You’ve got to do something you’ve never done.
I challenge YOU. Yes, you. To get outside of your comfort zone & do something that scares you.

Whether it’s joining a fitness class, going to a cooking class, trying that new yoga place, or joining a virtual community of women working on their overall health & wellness.

I know I’ve been letting the cold & snow get to my head and I’m not thinking forward about summer (at least when it comes to clothing). I’m still in hibernation mode, which means comfort food & goodies a little too often.

My excuse not to do things for me (he follows me everywhere!)

Yes, I could absolutely use “mom life” as an excuse. & I’m sure you wouldn’t blame me. 
BUT. 
I know he’s watching me. He follows me everywhere & absorbs everything I do. He watches what I eat (sometimes only wants to eat what’s on my plate even if it’s the same thing that’s on his plate 🙄), and he watches what I do.

Maybe you think it’s too hard, maybe you can’t do it everyday, maybe you’re too tired, too busy or unmotivated. And just maybe you think it’s “easy” for me cause I’m a coach.

PROBLEM AREAS!

I’m guilty of it too, but why do we have to focus so much on our “problem areas” and how to fix them? I see ads for fitness apps on social media all focusing on helping us target our problem areas (side boob/armpit fat, saddlebags, back fat, saggy boobs, love handles, the belly pooch, the list goes on..) 🙄

PSA- you can’t spot reduce. Aka you can’t lose fat in a certain spot, no matter how hard you try. 🙅🏻‍♀️

Let’s instead just focus on moving our bodies to have energy & release endorphins, and eating well to feel good! Consistency in these two areas will give the results you’re looking for. 👍🏼

Lately, I’ve been tooooo hung up on (okay maybe a Little Obsessed) with what the scale says. It gets into my head & sometimes it even ruins my day.

HOLD UP. The scale ruins my day? Yep. Sometimes it does. I’m not sure why this “magical” number is so important to me. I coach my clients that the scale is objective & that progress isn’t linear, so why is it so hard for me to teach myself? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I haven’t hopped on the scale for almost ✌🏼 weeks & I’ve actually been a lot happier (surprise, surprise 😬). I will get on occasionally to see if what I’m doing is working BUT I just needed a mental reset. Now feeling like a badass & ready to crushit 💪🏼💪🏼
