Hurray! The video I did for “Rollin’ Around” by Seattle’s own @steal_shit_do_drugs is up! Please venture over to their fine account to grab the YouTube link for the full vid in their bio and share if you like! The song was recorded and produced by the excellent @willy_nilz and #shotoniphone8plus with a @moment anamorphic lens and the @movicinemarobot ! Thanks, SSDD!

My dad served in the Army ‘40-‘45. He enlisted in 1940 with a group of local Wisconsin musicians and stayed together the entire time in the pacific theater, playing for the troops, driving supply trucks, digging graves, whatever needed to be done when the band wasn’t on duty. My dad was a Staff Sergeant and Assistant Conductor. Most remarkably, the guys kept in contact and for many years reunited each summer in Wisconsin at a park, or later, my parents’ home. They kept meeting until there was no one left. My dad is in the bottom row, second from right, looking like the raconteur he was. The wives also formed very strong bonds over the many years, and were as supportive to each other as the guys were. In the second photo, my mom is top row, all the way to the left. This is probably around 1970. #memorialday #army
