From left to right: Dean of Students Peter Newcomb, Director of Athletics Kevin Versen and Ethical Leadership Coordinator Eileen Dieck presented at The Association of Boarding Schools conference in Washington, DC! The trio focused on the collaboration between athletics and ethical leadership that resulted in Masters' Captain’s Training Program for varsity team captains. The program is intended to help our captains develop their personal leadership skills while also encouraging them to mentor each other as they confront similar challenges. It began in the fall of 2017, and the captains rotate with each season. Upper School math teacher and varsity boys' basketball coach Matt Kammrath and Director of Masters Adventure Program Meghan MacWilliams also participate in the training when they are not coaching their respective teams.
Senior Vincent Alban's photography exhibit — Just Kids: The children of Senegal — is a must-see collection of images on display in the Wenberg Gallery (third floor of the Fonseca Center)! Vincent took all the photos during the School’s trip to Senegal last summer. There will be a closing reception ‪on Friday, November 30 from 5-6:30 PM‬. Prints will be available for purchase. All proceeds will be donated to Cours Sainte Marie, which is Masters’ sister school in Dakar, Senegal. #PowerForGood
