Power outages across New England...only several hundred for most states but Massachusetts leads the way owing to wind gusts in excess of 40 mph. Widespread damage is not expected, but continued isolated outages into the early afternoon and wind chill values in the teens.
Not nearly as bad as it was earlier when I-95 in Burlington MA shut down due to a sheet of ice, but you’ll still find slick spots and both traffic reporter Megan Doll and Ed Hughes in Sky Ranger are proving it by finding continued spin-outs on highways and back roads. Be careful!
Some sloppy weather overnight Sunday night into the Monday AM commute!
YES! Awesome sunrise in Rockport, MA, right now. How about at your house??
While some are heading to the football field (see my earlier post) others of you are hitting the streets. What a cold day for a road race… Good luck! Some tips for this kind of cold...

Providing continuing live analysis as snowfall rates are increasing. Similar expectation on amounts to what I shared with you yesterday.
Our NBC10 Boston exclusive StormRanger is feeding back live data giving us a one-of-a-kind look at precisely where raindrops or snowflakes are falling.
More snow on the way… At least from central and northern Massachusetts point northward. Snowfall thoughts and a preview of Thanksgiving arctic air here.
‪Like any good New Englanders, a cloudy sky this weekend didn’t stop Danielle and me from sitting outside and “sunbathing.” When you know snow and cold will be here too soon and you’ll be working thru it all, you cherish 75° clouds. Today was decidedly brighter.‬
First evening of vacation was last night - Danielle loves to drive my truck and I needed to be logged into our @nbc10boston @stormrangernbc remotely from the passengers seat, anyway. Great data in high resolution from the mobile Doppler for our team, and on our app. Arrived to the mountains of NH in time for a great light show.
