Naz World Cultures Club took its first trip of the year to learn about Swedish American History on Thursday. The first stop was the Swedish American History Museum. Students had the opportunity to step in the shoes of Swedish Immigrants and learned the process of coming into the United States. After the museum, they headed to Tre Kronor and tried some delicious traditional Swedish meals and desserts. (📷: Eddie Olewinski '19)
US History Honors students displayed their History Fair projects for judging today in Springer Hall. "History Fair is a long term scholarly research report that requires students to chose any topic regarding Chicago or Chicago Suburb history. Students then make an argument about their topic presenting it in the form of a documentary, a poster or a research report" says US History Honors teacher Mrs. Hawkins. (📷: Eddie Olewinski '19)
In preparation for Homecoming, students decorated the bridge. The theme this year is Bella Note Disney.

World Cultures Club took its first field trip of the year to learn
about the Greek Culture at the National Hellenic Museum downtown. Members were able to touch a 8.5
million year old petrified redwood tree.
Afterwards they headed to Greek Islands Restaurant to sample some
delicious Greek Meals.

The Nazareth community has begun raising money for the 42nd annual Walk that will take place on October 7th. The money raised helps fund sports and clubs at Naz.

On Monday, junior and senior Italian Classes took a field trip to the Italian Sports Hall Of Fame. Where they learned about famous Italian athletes. They then went on to make their very own fresh pizza at a pizzeria.
Students anticipate the annual Snowball trip by decorating the Bridge. Snowball will take place March 18th through 19th.
