Time to DETOX your deodorant! 
Unfortunately, most deodorants on the market are made with toxin ingredients that are hazardous to our health. A common ingredient used in most antiperspirants is aluminum. It’s time to try a deodorant detox and swap the chemicals for one of this organic deododorant recipe. 
Coconut oil is a wonderful product to use as a base for deodorant because it kills fungi, yeast and bacteria. Baking soda helps to neutralize odor, the arrowroot powder helps to absorb moisture and the added essential oils are also anti-bacterial.

¼ Cup of Baking Soda
¼ Cup of Arrowroot Powder
4 Tablespoon Coconut Oil, Soft (room temperature)
¼ tsp Lavander Essential Oils
Mix all ingredients together until combined.
Store in an air tight container.
You can melt and pour the deodorant into empty deodorant containers.
If you have sensitive skin you will want to cut the baking soda down to 2 tablespoons and add 2 tablespoons of arrowroot powder.

If your lips are tender, exfoliating with a scrub can hurt. This lip peel uses the natural alpha hydroxy acids in yogurt (lactic acid), cane sugar (glycolic acid), and kiwi (citric acid) to get rid of dead skin.

Combine the yogurt and sugar and let the mixture sit for a few minutes so that the sugar dissolves into the yogurt. Then mash in a bit of kiwi. The bright green fruit is a fun addition that brings a hefty dose of vitamin C (five times as much as an orange!) along with vitamins A, K and E. Kiwi makes a great face mask ingredient for its gentle exfoliation and skin-lightening effects.

Exfoliating Lip Mask

1 tsp Greek yogurt
1/4 tsp cane sugar
1 slice kiwi (about 1 to 1/2 teaspoons)

Combine the sugar with the yogurt and let it sit for a few minutes to dissolve the sugar.
Mash in a bit of kiwi.
Apply liberally to lips and cover with a small square of plastic wrap.
Let sit for 5 minutes and then rinse with warm water.

Coconut milk contains healthy proteins and essential fats, both of which boost hair growth.

1/2 cup coconut milk
3 teaspoons olive oil
3 teaspoons almond oil
hot water as needed
Combine the olive oil and coconut milk, apply the mixture to your scalp and then work the mask through your hair. Massage the mask into your scalp and through the ends of your hair. Wear a shower cap to allow heat to help with deeper penetration. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and then follow with shampoo to rinse the mask off.

A detox bath can do more than just relieve stress; it can also soothe sore muscles, help stop colds and infections and open congested sinuses. As your pores open and blood is drawn to the skin, detox ingredients like Epsom salt and apple cider vinegar can draw out toxins and deliver minerals like magnesium.

Add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar plus 1/2 cup Epsom salt and about 5 drops of lavender essential oil to help relieve skin or vaginal infections. The ACV draws out toxins and cleans out pores – even in sensitive regions. If the ACV smells ruins the sensory experience add the anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties of lavender oil to counteract the vinegar smell.
