Typical amount of calories & sugar in 1 teaspoon of table sugar, honey & other syrups from @nubskitchen While they may not be called 'sugar' they often have much the same calories and 'sugar' content so replacing one with the other doesn't make it 'sugar-free' or healthier. Take home message, have everything in moderation, it's ok to indulge sometimes with any of these but keep most of your food intake to foods that are unprocessed, natural and from the fresh product aisle of the supermarket.

Watch out Chobani, YoPro has launched a new high protein drinking yoghurt. These are great for those on the run. They are low in kilojoules / calories with under 400kJ/100 cal, low in carbohydrate & sugar with only between 7 & 8g carbs and they are high in protein with 15g per pack plus they are a good source of calcium. Flavour wise ? They are not very sweet but I've only tried one flavour so far, I didn't mind it but will try another between patients today.
