Pollinators hard at work on a hot spring day! Help these busy bees stay healthy by placing shallow water dishes in your yard. Place small twigs and stones in the water for bees to sit and sip awhile! 🐝🐝🐝 #savethebees #pollinators #apismellifera

Repost from @beerootedbees. PolliNATION Festival coming soon! #pollination #pollinators
Did you know bees are fuzzy? Bees have branched hairs on their bodies that tiny pollen grains become stuck on. They use their hairy front and middle legs to brush pollen off their bodies onto the recesses of their back legs. These recesses are called corbiculae, or pollen baskets. Without their fuzz, pollination would 🐝 much more difficult! #pollinatorfacts #apismellifera #honeybees #beek #pollenpants #corbiculae #sofuzzy
Look what we found! Today's a great day to support bees and craft beer. Head over to @hamiltonfamilybrewery and 🐝 a part of their new beer release and charity art auction to benefit Bee conservation and education programs in the southern California! #socalcraftbeer #iecraftbeer #inlandempire #incredibleediblegarden #ranchocucamonga #ranchobrewmile #savethebees #pollinators #dontkillmybuzz
What a beauty! Hummingbirds are the tiny powerhouses of the pollinator world. Their hearts beat 1200 times a minute and they require near constant nutrition to sustain their body's metabolic demands. Their needle like bill allows pollination of tubular, bell shaped flowers. Repost from @hummingbirdsxoxo #trochilidae #hummingbird #pollinators #pollinatorfacts
Regrann from @batsrule_helpsavewildlife; Bats are vital pollinators for over 300 species of fruit, including mangoes, bananas and guava. Bats are also responsible for pollinating agave, the spiky plant that makes tequila! #batfacts #savethebats #pollinators #batsofinstagram #chiroptera #pollinatorfacts
Repost from @faheyfarmshopiary; Lovely to see a Monarch butterfly out for a pre lunch flight! Monarchs can travel 50-100 miles a day. It can take up to two months for them to complete their journey to their winter habitat! #monarchbutterfly #milkweed #butterfly #asclepias #nymphalidae #pollinators #pollinatorfacts

Check out this beeeauty! Did you know that bees don't leave the hive, or forage, to gather pollen, nectar and propolis until they are 22 days old? Before then they work as housekeepers, nurse bees, hive builders, guards and ventilators for the hive. Bees are fascinating! #beefacts #pollinators #foragers #busybees #pollinatorfacts #knowyourpollinators #pollinationfestivals 🐝🐝🐝
