Happy birthday to....ME! And just like that Réalta is three years old! What!? It’s been some few years. It started out as a school for one to one sessions. Now the business includes:
Group classes, mainstream, additional needs, autism, children, adults, drama groups for mates, four national schools, Baboro, exhibitions, summer camps, workshops, writing courses, teaching in Galway, Mayo and Dublin. You name it and we are doing it!

Thank you so much to everyone who has helped me get this far! Let’s see what the next year holds!

Our group class restarts next Wednesday September 11th and there are just a few spaces left in both age groups. For more details on how to book, go to

Settle in for a minute for a really lovely story about a random act of kindness.

A while back I was in Castlebar where I got speaking to a really lovely person called Mick. He was really interested in the work I do, particularly the work related to Autism and Additional Needs. He asked me 'Any big Mayo football fans?'
I proceeded to tell him about a really special boy called Martin who is Mayo football mad:) 'Leave it with me' he said. Mick then set about getting members of the team to sign hats, jersey pictures and a mug, especially for Martin.

Today, Martin and Mick met for the first time and he was given these really thoughtful presents. His mum messaged me to say 'Martin was really excited and happy and will probably sleep in the jersey and hat tonight.' A huge thank you to Mick Byrne in Mayo, @aidoxi and the members of the Mayo football team for this really kind gesture. These things mean so much.

PEOPLE ARE SOUND!

So clearly I was a Chatty Cathy when I was in second class. Fair play to the teacher who made me write out what good behavior is meant to look like🤦🏻‍♀️ Highlights from this include: “I should be good in class. I’m only caught or told on anyway.” “ I went crawling under the desk. I wanted to do that. I was going to meet Nessa under the desk.” Sure look, haven’t I created a business out of chatting!
