I've spent most of today sleeping and watching @buzzfeedunsolved - I guess it's just one of those days 🤗 Anyways, I thought it would be fun to share a few of my favourite @deciem (The Ordinary) products. Swipe through to see an excerpt from my blog about these products.
Question of the day - What is your favourite @deciem product?

The lighting today has been horrible, so trying to take good pics was impossible 🤬 I'm still trying to post consistently though, and so I thought I'd take this opportunity to share with you one of my favourite skincare/beauty accounts. I'm sure most of you already follow @sharmtoaster but if you don't go now. Go, go, go!! Question of the day - What are your favourite skincare/beauty accounts? Tag them in the comments. I want to follow more people 💆🏾‍♀️

I'm sure none of you will mind the fact that I'm posting at ten o'clock, especially considering that Instagram's horrible algorithm means it doesn't really make a difference when I most 🤦🏾‍♀️ Anyways, as the broke student I am, spending big money on candles doesn't really happen. But I'm loving this Vintage Blossom candle from @primark 🌷 It's very cheap, smells super good and looks so pretty on my shelf!! (Second) question of the day - What are your favourite candle brands? I feel like splashing out on a nice-smelling, aesthetically pleasing candle 💆🏾‍♀️
Hello, lovelies! I hope everyone has had a good start to 2018. This year I'm going to try and participate in the #ABNewYearStashChallenge by @mindyourbeauty and @peepingpomeranian (hopefully this will give me the push I need to post consistently) 👀

Day One. Oil Cleansers:
@thebodyshop Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter 🌼 - I use this lightweight cleansing balm as my first cleanse, to quickly dissolve my eye and face makeup. It transforms from a solid balm to a soft, cleansing oil upon application. Listen, I don’t care what anyone tells you. If makeup makes you happy, then cake that shit on. Blend your contour. Watch as negativity bounces off your @lauragellerbeauty Gelato Swirl Illuminator. Wing the fuck out of your eyeliner. And while you’re at it, make it sharp enough to kill 🔪 But skin first, makeup second. Remember to remove your makeup and remove it properly -- a cotton pad and makeup remover most likely aren't going to cut it. In my opinion, nothing can remove makeup and grime the way an oil cleanser can 💆🏾‍♀️ _________

Question of the day - What is your favourite oil cleanser?
Masking has made big waves in the skincare industry this year, and it was no coincidence when @thebodyshop released their At-Home Facial Mask Experience, which includes five of their much-loved Expert Facial Masks: * British Rose Fresh Plumping Mask 75ml
* Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask 75ml
* Chinese Ginseng & Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask 75ml
* Amazonian Acai Energising Radiance Mask 75ml
* Japanese Matcha Tea Pollution Clearing Mask 75ml

These super-food infused masks, which are inspired by beauty remedies from around the globe, are formulated for specific skin concerns rather than particular skin types. I have loved being able to mix and match depending on how my face feels on a particular day. I am seriously in love with this set ✨ I might write a more detailed blog post later, but for the time being, I would like to wish everyone a happy new year. Can you believe it's the last day of 2017? Where has the time gone? I'm so thankful for the support I have received since making this account, especially from a certain number of girls (they know who they are, but I've tagged their lovely accounts so you guys can check them out). I'm also incredibly thankful for my lovely boyfriend, without him I wouldn't have made it through this year.
Question of the day - Who are you thankful for this year? Tag them in the comments ♥️♥️
Red earth were kind enough to send this gorgeous bundle of products for me to try. Isn’t the packaging beautiful? Especially the Have Fun lipstick swatches. I wanted to take some decent photos of them before I actually take them apart and use them. I'll let you guys know how I get on! Also, I can’t wait to try the Have Fun hydrating facial masks. Sheet masks adhere to your skin and infuse it with concentrated serums. Have Fun contains aloe vera, chrysanthellum and sugar cane to replenish dehydrated skin. My skin has been struggling with the cold weather, so I'm sure it'll thank me for incorporating these into my routine. Thank you so much @redearth_beauty for sending these products my way, I feel so blessed and grateful to receive them.

Question of the day - Which beauty brand do you think has the prettiest packaging?
@deciem The Ordinary - Salicylic Acid 2% Solution which claims to unclog pores and eliminate blemish-causing impurities and balance excess sebum production. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxyl acid (BHA) that provides exfoliation. This solution penetrates the interior walls of pores to unclog + clear impurities and is ideal for oily, congested skin. Apply a small dot directly on spots for visible improvements of specific blemishes or use a small amount over the face for striking clarity. I found that with continued use (twice a day, morning and evening) my blemishes began to visibly improve and this is without a doubt my favourite product made by @deciem. As this product contains a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) it may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun, so it is super important to wear sunscreen.
Alpha Hydroxyl Acids (AHAs) exfoliate the skin’s topmost layer for a brighter, more even appearance, while beta hydroxyl acids (BHAs) exfoliate the skin more deeply to clear pore congestion. @deciem AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution combines these acids to help reduce blemishes + boost radiance. I have found that using this product twice a week, as part of my nighttime routine has reduced the appearance of my acne scars, my pores appear smaller + my skin appears softer. I would recommend AHA 30% + BHA 2% to anyone who is experienced with acid exfoliation and skin is not sensitive to such products. AHAs increases the sensitivity of your skin to the sun, so always use a sunscreen when using this product and preferably only use it in the evening.
