As we started our “Kick Thanksgiving In The Giblets” cycle today, in unison we will be collecting CANS for Mission Thanksgiving!! Collecting starts TODAY and will run through November 16th (leave cans at front desk).
As if helping others isn’t incentive enough... on November 17th our coaching staff will do 1 burpee for every can given!!! 😳 How many canned goods can we collect!?

Thursday’s this training cycle was not only physically challenging but mental as well. #PTPrepTrainingAtTheLab

Explanation: 
1️⃣ You and your partner do the total reps of each set. For example, on the first set. You would do 5 reps and your partner would do 5 reps. Equaling 10 total reps. 
2️⃣ Two exercises (squats & laps) you do simultaneously together (SWIPE LEFT👆 to see those examples)
3️⃣ NOTICE when you do the Assault Bike, Ski Erg, and Rower you measure your reps in calories. 
4️⃣ With a 5-10min dynamic warm up/movement prep, this workout should take you between 45-55mins to complete

With recent events, this hits home with so many of our Lab family. In the field, our First Responders and Airmen are faced with the reality of possibly being shot or injured while on the job. Applying a tourniquet to themselves is key to survival (device used to stop the flow of blood through a vein or artery). Just like in a real situation, you’re tired and winded, but you must still be able to perform well, quickly, and keep fighting. #abilenestrong

We couldn’t be more proud of one of our #TPLathletes 💪
Mackenzie, freshman at Jim Ned High School, won first place 🥇 at her Varsity District cross country meet. She was  one of our most consistent athletes to train with us this summer.
