Thank you for another successful Relationship Violence Prevention Month! We’re so grateful to everyone who stopped by Rally for Healthy Relationships to explore what healthy relationships mean to them, who came to Feminist Friday to discuss technology and relationships with us, and who shared and supported at Breaking the Silence on Tuesday. We loved seeing survivors, supporters, volunteers and allies at all of our events this October.

We appreciate your sharing and learning with us this month, and remember that you can get involved by stopping by a VAV Student Org meeting any Tuesday! #hookemforhealthyrelationships
Only one more day until Breaking the Silence! There will be an open mic for survivors and allies to share stories, an art installation, musical performances and a resource fair with both on- and off-campus organizations.
Love, Like, and ‘Liking’ - Come explore the role of technology in relationships (positive, harmful, and everything in between!) with us at the GSC at 1 PM TODAY for Feminist Friday!”
Don’t forget to stop by Jester Concourse (UPDATED LOCATION!) today from 11 AM - 2 PM where we will be celebrating Relationship Violence Prevention Month with Rally for Healthy Relationships! We’ll have giveaways, VAV shirts, and interactive ways to explore what a healthy relationship means to you.

Incredible speech given by the founder of the #metoo movement - Tarana Burke @taranajaneen last Friday at UT Austin. Especially appreciated her final sentiment which communicated that if the audience was ready to start working on eliminating interpersonal violence, to that Tarana says “me too.”
