Marylin Corsiglia has been a volunteer for United Way of Marion County since February 2017. After retiring early, she wanted a way to stay active and engaged in the community. “I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for United Way…when I was in my late 20’s, my mom had a stroke. I used the resources United Way offers to assist during those first few years.” She stated that United Way is making a difference in the community by lessening the amount of stress someone may face in a crisis situation. United Way of Marion County’s 2-1-1 referral line can be that starting point and “one-stop-shop” for those in need.
She encourages others to get involved with United Way because “a strong community always gives back.” Thank you, Marylin for your dedication to making Ocala and Marion County a stronger community! #NVW #volunteer #giveback #LIVEUNITED
