You remember our #popintoberlin campaign last year?
This year from September to November you can enjoy dining with us in an urban jungle environment with live music and street art performances in different cities in Germany. Our temporary restaurants offer dishes inspired by the city of Berlin and trust us - it's more than just Currywurst.
Kick off is this week in Cologne (Sept 19-23), next stops are Frankfurt (Oct. 10-14) and Hamburg (Nov. 7-11). If you want to join the events, have a look at or get inspired by our Instagram account @popintoberlin.
Have a nice weekend everyone!
This city view seems not too familiar but its actually right next to our famous Alexanderplatz.
The part that you can see here is the area around Karl-Marx-Allee and Strausberger Platz.
Built in the 1950s in the so called wedding-cake-style, most of the architecture is now under heritage protection and walking along the huge boulevard sometimes makes you feel like travelling back some decades.
By the way, the picture was taken from the panorama platform of the TV tower, where you can get spectacular views all over Berlin.
If you feel like strolling around on these mild autumn days, head towards Volkspark Hasenheide park in Neukölln district.
Enjoy your walk and treat yourself with a snack at HasenschÀnke right in the center of the park.
#visit_berlin TeamPick - This view over our beloved city was perfectly captured by local Instagrammer @berlingraphie.

Thanks for using our community hashtag #visit_berlin for your shots from Berlin. Every Tuesday we feature one of our favourites on this account.

Take a deep breath and enjoy the silence before starting into the new week.
Happy Monday everyone!
#foodspots_berlin - If you had to guess the purpose of this place, what would you think from your first impression?
In fact is a Chinese restaurant that serves cold starters and noodle dishes, which are prepared in a modern and very fresh way, which makes it so special.
Try it yourself at Brunnenstrasse in Berlin-Mitte, opened from 12pm to 3pm and 5pm to 10pm during the week and from 1pm to 10pm on weekends.
Happy Friday everyone!
Inspired by the Eiffel Tower, the Funkturm Berlin is one of the major sightseeing spots of Charlottenburg district. Located at the convention area Messe Berlin, the tower is used as a transmitter for mobile phone networks and is also a place where visitors go for a fantastic view of the city. The Funkturm is 150 metres high, and you can go up to the viewing platform at 126 metres or have a seat at their restaurant at 55 metres above the ground.

We made it - it is midweek.
How about celebrating with a little boogie at ClĂ€rchens Ballhaus? This ballroom is truly legendary. Opened in 1913, the present “ClĂ€rchenÂŽs Ballroom” is still a dance hall but also accomodates a restaurant, right in the centre of Berlin.

#visit_berlin Team Pick - What a wonderful Berlin view, captured by local Instagrammer @patrick.noack from the westside of our beloved city.

Thanks for using our community hashtag #visit_berlin for your shots from Berlin. Every Tuesday we feature one of our favourites on this account.
We always love to start the week with some classic sightseeing.
Can it be any more iconic than this?
Happy new week everyone! :)
#foodspots_berlin - located in an old red brick former Jewish girls’ school – @mogg is an modern American Deli that brought New York City food culture to Berlin. Got cravings? Let us continue
not only most that already tried will agree that Mogg serves one of the best pastrami sandwiches in town, but also no doubts equally amazing New York Cheesecake! Oh! And did we mention the matzo ball soup?

Visit Mogg on Auguststraße, in Mitte! Open from 11am to 10pm on weekdays and from 10am to 10pm on weekends. Are we meeting there this weekend? #visit_berlin
