The Little Lions and Lionesses (an after-school program for K5-4th grade students) recently held their spring meetings. The meetings, instructed by Mrs. Samantha Parker, began by practicing table manners and etiquette while enjoying a delicious pasta meal from the Mid-American Grille Restaurant.
The topic of the remainder of the meeting focused on being grateful ladies and gentlemen through our movement as well as how we treat others. They discussed how ladies and gentlemen can be peacemakers in their everyday lives.

Participants finished out the session by creating a cherry blossom tree artwork. The artist spotlight for this meeting was Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. For more information about Little Lions and Lionesses, call the office at 918-825-7038.

The 7th - 12th grade students explored the Philbrook Museum of Art today to get ideas for their open house projects. Here are just a few of the photos from the field trip. We still have a lot more photos to go through next week, but enjoy these for now. Let the three day weekend begin! Photo credit. Adriana Pilant, Pacie Parker, and Mrs. Geisler. #wbcslions
WBCS Family,
This months voting process produced an exciting tie for ‘Teacher of the Month’. Rather than break that tie, I felt both of these dedicated and deserving educators should be recognized today.
We would like to introduce you to the WBCS March 'Teachers of the Month', Mrs. Stacy Henington and Mrs. Melinda Quattlebaum.
Mrs. Henington teaches our 1st/2nd grade classes. She has been an amazing and supportive addition to our Bradford family, volunteering wherever the need arises. We are incredibly blessed to have her!

Mrs. Quattlebaum teaches the Jr. High/High School history and journalism classes. Mrs. Q leads our ICAA Accreditation and always goes above and beyond the call of duty for the benefit of WBCS and our students. We certainly appreciate everything she does for our Bradford family! These fabulous ladies were selected by their peers for this honor.
Another first, we had siblings selected as our ‘Students of the Month’! Our WBCS March 'Students of the Month' are Landon and Breanna Berry. Landon is in the 1st grade and Breanna is in the 3rd grade. Their parents are Gary and Sharron Berry. Students were nominated by the teachers for this accomplishment. 🎉CONGRATULATIONS 🎉

Mr. Larry Stamper
WBCS Administrator. #wbcslions
Due to the bitter cold weather and potential road conditions of the secondary roads that impact our families, we will cancel school for tomorrow Monday, March 4th. Stay warm and safe!
Stop by and cheer our Scripps Spelling Bee Champion, Aurora Mathews, at the regional spelling bee scheduled to begin at 10 A.M. on Saturday, March 2nd at the Tulsa Tech campus in Owasso. #wbcslions #bradfordlions
