JUST ANNOUNCED: Salsa Women SC has joined the Women’s Premier Soccer League as an expansion club, adding to the league’s strong presence in Los Angeles County.

The Women’s Premier Soccer League saw 22 players from 14 clubs drafted during the 2019 National Women’s Soccer League Draft in Chicago on Thursday.

With more than half the selected players having played in the #WPSL, the league once again showed it is the foremost competition for the development of amateur female athletes as they pursue their professional soccer aspirations.

JUST ANNOUNCED: @orlandokicksfc will rejoin the #WPSL as an expansion side for the 2019 season!
Founded by Robbie Aristodemo, a former Canadian National Team standout and professional soccer player, the Orlando Kicks FC are excited about once again competing in the most prestigious and largest women’s soccer league in the world.
“Our ownership group and staff are very excited about this great opportunity to return to the WPSL,” Aristodemo said. “Our league championship in 2016 was a great indication that we are a club that has high hopes and ambitions.  This team will allow many of Central Florida’s best and brightest soccer players to train and compete with some of the nation’s best soccer players.”
The Kicks played in the WPSL from 2016-17. It will be part of a competitive Sunshine Conference that features clubs across the Florida Peninsula.
JUST ANNOUNCED: Coming off a successful inaugural season in the professional @nwsl, the @utahroyalsfc is joining the #WPSL with its reserve team.
Dell Loy Hansen is the owner for both the Royals and Royals Reserves. He also owns Major League Soccer club Real Salt Lake, winners of the 2009 MLS Cup. Stephanie Lee is the Royals' managing director. 
The Royals Reserves join the WPSL after playing the past three seasons in the UWS. They play their home matches at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah, and finished the 2018 season 4-5-1. ⚽️ Visit WPSLsoccer.com for the full release.
