Happy December! I'm wrapping up this semester at college and finally have free time. I can't wait to revamp my blog over winter break and start posting regularly on here again. Stay tuned!
So I know it’s been awhile since my last post but my summer was busy & then I started my senior year of college so life is even more busy and chaotic but I wanted to stop by and say HELLO! And I wanted to share that I’ll be going to Jamaica and Greece in 2019 and I’m soooo excited. Stay tuned for the pics + blog post to come 💕
Happy July 1st!!! I love the first of the month because it’s like a fresh start. What are your travel plans for July?
Missing Keukenhof and Amsterdam and being in Europe a lot today
My blog @youngblackandabroad really has one sole purpose: to show that black people travel too. I have the #BlackTravelerSeries where I interview black travelers all around the world to increase our representation in this community and now I’m proud to announce my next series for the blog! I will be doing a Traveling While Black series where I ask YOU to contribute your experiences on dating abroad, solo travel, keeping up with natural hair, & more. It’s all apart of plan to show that travel is for everybody. I’m looking for black travel writers who would want to contribute. If you or anyone you know would be interested, please let me know!

I used to hate being a morning person but now I’ll gladly wake up at 5am to catch a sunrise. Especially a beautiful one like this, over the mountains.

I love finding beautiful waterfalls like this one. Nothing like cooling off by taking a swim in the freezing water!
youngblackandabroad is youngblackandLOCAL this summer! I’m making it a mission to explore locally all summer long and this weekends adventure was to Asheville. I have a blog post up NOW about how I spent 36 hours in the cutest city! #linkinbio
